ADRIEN'S P.O.V
We've been sighting rogues around the borders of our pack's territory. I decided to patrol tonight to see if I could find any clues.
"Alpha, patrol starts in 30 minutes." My eyes glazed over as my Beta Ethan mindlinked me.
"Alright, I'm on my way thanks." My eyes reverted back to its original state.
"I guess I'll finish this when I get back." Standing up from my chair, I rolled my back to relieve the ache of being cooped up in my office all day. I hadn't even noticed time had passed and it was gradually becoming dark outside.
I stepped outside my house and with one fluid motion, shifted into my wolf Ryien and ran towards the borders. We were two different entities yet whole together.
Ryien was special, other wolves couldn't communicate with their human counterparts
