I can’t believe it actually my wedding day. I walk around my apartment for the last time since I will be moving in with my husband, I put on a modest dress and got into the car for my appointment with my makeup artist and take some nice pictures with the girls but leaving to my married life.
Katie my best lady was putting my dress on me when and I can believe all my wishes are coming to pass, I told Katie to give me sometime alone in the room and she did.
The tailor ate the dress I gave her to sew it was so pretty that for once I think I look like Cinderella, I was so lost in my mind that I didn’t know when Katie came back inside but her touch jolt me back to reality.
“ katie I just want to have sometime alone before we leave for the venue, I will come meet you guys outside when am done”. I told her sitting down on the chair and redoing my hair
“I know Alison but a letter came for you, I came to drop it for you”. She says.
I took the letter from her as she made her way to the door before stopping and turned back once again to look at me.
“Alison, you’re beautiful and happy married life”. She says and went away.
I smiled but think it to early for them to be congratulating me since we haven’t even signed the papers. I reached over to the letter lying on the dressing table then unsealed the envelope.

After 5 years of courtship with Alison, it was finally our wedding day. The whole world is set at St. John's Hall, waiting for the wife to be. I stand at the hall patiently waiting for Alison to arrive. Now everyone has been waiting for minutes, and she still hasn't arrived. They have now begun to get worried. I turned my head to look for Mark, my personal assistant and cousin, but couldn't find him. I signaled to a man guarding the place; he came forth and bent his ear to listen to what I had to say.
"Find me, Mark, I said.". Yes, sir, right away.
I stand there no longer waiting patiently and am starting to get nervous, but girls are always late, like on her wedding day, who wouldn't want to look their best. I caught Mark among the crowd moving closer to me with a disturb look splatter on his face. People have begun to murmur and have caught quite some people laughing. That is really annoying. Mark walked up to me and lowered his voice to a whisper.
"Ash am afriad Alison has runaway." What? I said I was trying so hard to hold my cool and stopped myself from running out of the church.
Like, how do you know how you came to the conclusion that she has run away, like she might be dressing up, and it might be the reason why she is late?
"No, Mark responded." She was spotted at the airport this morning, but I am still looking into it, but that is what it is.
"Like she ran away just like that. We didn't have any argument that could lead to something like this, so I am still confused about this whole thing, and I can't seem to wrap my head around this, so Mark, what are you suggesting? I am suggesting we go after her because people are starting to notice, and it's going to be such a shame to just cancel the wedding like this." Mark was silent for a moment before speaking.
"I suggest otherwise, sir, seeing how there are many people that are invited to this wedding that will do anything to bring you down, sir, so I suggest we find you another bride. Sir, seeing how people are starting to notice that the bride is missing, why don't we start a rumor that the bride has been in a car accident and won't be able to make it here today?
The idea Mark brought is good, and I agreed and rushed out of the hall

I felt a sting in my chest and it started getting really difficult for me to breathe, I started feeling hot and my clothes began getting uncomfortable. Today is supposed to be my wedding day but somehow it going to be the worst day of my life, I excused myself to use the restroom but instead I took off my clothes and find a comfortable clothes to put on as I made my way out of the house, i once again checked the paper i had clenched to my hand to see if the wordings were misspelled or if any of this is even real, I don't know when tears started streaming out of my eyes but I quickly stop them cause now I have to be strong. I did my best to avoid the people partying outside waiting for the wife to be, I don't know but two minutes ago my life was still intact until I received the letter.
