I didn't expect to see Elena at my aunt's house. It was a surprise, to say the least. At first, I wanted to believe it was just a coincidence, but a part of me couldn't help but find her visit a bit fishy. Why would she be here, of all places?
As I walked inside from the garden, I saw them sitting together, laughing. The grumpy expression that was once on Elena's face had disappeared, replaced by a genuine smile. It caught me off guard, and my curiosity grew even stronger.
