I raised an eyebrow, trying to mask my eagerness to hear the story. The woman seemed to sense my curiosity, and her smile widened. She glanced towards the door, then shifted in her seat and continued speaking. "I don't know much about you and Victor's relationship, but I do know that he's someone who tends to hide his emotions. No matter what's going on in his life, he never wants to burden anyone with his problems. There must be a reason why he's been acting cold towards you."
