Watching her

Life is filled with choices. Choices that define us. No matter how meaningless they seem, they make us who we are.                                                                                                                                                            Imagine being born into a dysfunctional family, Making the decision to go to another school. Wanting to be a dentist instead of a lawyer. Not refusing that molly from the guy at that one party. Listening to jazz instead of rock. Never seeing your favorite show that you watched and rewatched so many times or the movie that changed your life. Being too afraid to break up with Toxic Tom or stopped hanging out with people that made you feel like sh*t. Never earning to stand up for the quiet kid or for yourself. Not going out the night you made your very first best friend or all the people that mean the world to you.                    All of the choices create our personalities, form our state of mind, and shape our dreams. We make the choices, and the choices make us.
