chapter 1 the birth of legend
Page 1: The Mark of Destiny The sky above Neverland was as blue as any other day, but the light that illuminated the house on the hill was far from normal. On that quiet morning, a boy was born—a child whose path had been carved into prophecy thousands of years before his first breath. His name was Arinos. As he grew, his physical strength outmatched every youth in the realm, but it was his mind that truly set him apart. He spent his days shattering wooden dummies in solitary training and tested his grit in the fierce street-brawls of the lower districts. Young as he was, an unyielding tempest burnt within his eyes—a striking reflection of Samtad, the Supreme God of Lightning. Yet beneath that intense gaze lay a cold, calculating mind: a tactical mind that rivaled Hemthen, the God of War. Page 2: The Oath of Neverland On Arinos’s twelfth birthday, the sky split open. A direct bolt of golden lightning struck his right arm, searing a permanent rune into his flesh. Arinos barely flinched. His mind was set on a single goal: surviving until his twenty-first year so he could join the ranks of the royal military. The years flew past like a swift arrow. On his twenty-first birthday, Arinos entered the grueling Commander’s Trials. Utilizing brilliant military tactics and unmatched hand-to-hand mastery, he outmaneuvered every candidate in the arena. He was officially named Commander of the Armies of Neverland. Campaign after campaign followed, and under his command, Neverland never tasted a single defeat. Page 3: The Price of Glory Arinos’s swift victories earned him the legendary title of High Admiral of Neverland. His fearless leadership caught the attention of Hemthen, the God of War, who sought to bind the brilliant commander as his personal champion in the mortal world. The true crisis arrived when the ruthless empire of Mangroda launched a surprise invasion, swarming Neverland’s borders with overwhelming numbers. As Neverland’s defenses began to crumble, Arinos—a devoted follower of Hemthen—offered a solemn prayer to the War God, requesting divine aid to protect his homeland. Hemthen descended in a flash of crimson light, granting Arinos supernatural strength to turn the tide. But the God of War’s favor was a golden trap. Page 4: The Fall of the Admiral Hemthen bound Arinos’s soul to the Aegis Gauntlets—heavy, star-forged war gauntlets crafted in the volcanic depths by Vulcan. With them, Arinos was unstoppable, crushing Mangroda’s vanguard single-handedly. However, Hemthen’s true motive was control. To break Arinos’s ties to the mortal world and turn him into a permanent weapon, Hemthen secretly directed Mangroda’s remaining forces toward Arinos’s home village. Arinos rushed back, arriving at the village temple just as it collapsed. Inside, he found his beloved wife, Kethe, and his young daughter, Sobi, mortally wounded under divine fire. As Kethe held his arm with her final breath, the temple priestess placed a hand on Arinos’s chest, revealing the truth through a vision: it was Hemthen who had orchestrated the siege to sever Arinos’s human heart. The Wrath and the Rebirth Grief turned to white-hot rebellion. Realizing he had been manipulated, Arinos turned his star-forged gauntlets directly against the God of War. Hemthen dispatched a massive legion of heavenly soldiers to crush the commander, but Arinos systematically dismantled the divine army in a b****y siege. Overwhelmed by divine forces, Arinos was eventually chained, tortured, and cast into the shadowy depths of the Underworld. Yet as his soul hovered in the dark, Agetha, Goddess of Nature, manifested before him. "Rise, Arinos," her voice resonated like rustling leaves and ancient earth. "The gods of Samplas have grown arrogant and cruel. To break Samtad's throne, you must claim the slumbering power of the Eight Primordial Giants hidden beneath the world's highest peaks. I will guide your path—if you have the courage to stand. If you are a coward, lie here and let oblivion take you." Arinos raised his head, his eyes glowing with unyielding resolve. "I am no coward." Channelling his strength into the Aegis Gauntlets, he shattered the Underworld chains binding him, struck down the guardians of the abyss, and clawed his way back to the mortal shore. Standing against the howling wind, he looked toward the realm of Samplas and roared: "GODS OF SAMPLAS! I AM COMING FOR YOU!"
