Asher took a step closer to me. " It's because your human, and humans don't feel the mate bond as strongly as werewolves, "he said. Taking another step and lifted my chin.

"I had to make you mine before you could reject me." I shivered under his touch "now that I have marked and mated with you, you can't reject me, and you feel the mate bond stronger now," he said smiling.

Asher moved closer to my ear and whispered "and that's why you came on to me today," I turned my face away from him as I could feel myself blushing. Asher let out a little laugh, " Don't worry love, I enjoyed it," I then gave him a death glare before pushing him away from me.

" Well, I guess I'll go back to having my shower then," he said with a smile still on his face.

I sat down on the bed thinking to myself, Asher didn't want me to reject him? I told him I didn't want to get married. Wasn't that me rejecting him?

This was confusing me. Also, why would they care if a human didn't want to be with a werewolf? Wouldn't they prefer someone of their kind? And he is their leader.

Wouldn't they want their leader to be with their own kind anyway? The more I thought about it the more confused I was becoming, I was so lost in my thoughts I hadn't realized that Asher was standing in front of me.

"Were you waiting for me?" he asked with a cheeky grin on his face. I rolled my eyes. " No I wasn't, I was just thinking, and I believe you aren't telling me the full truth," Asher kneeled in front of me.

"I haven't lied to you, love," I crossed my arms, "I told you I didn't want to marry you, so that means I rejected you, right?" Asher looked me in the eyes for a second, he must have been thinking about how he was going to answer me.

" Well, yes you did reject me in a way, but to break the mate bond you have to state your name and say that you reject blah blah as your mate."

" So in other words, there was a certain way in which I had to reject you?" I questioned. Asher nodded in response. I started to laugh so hard that my eyes began to water.

Asher just looked at me with a confused face, "what's so funny?" he finally asked, "you were worried I would reject you when I had no idea that I had to do it in a certain way," After I said that, you could see the realization in his face.

which just made me laugh again. It was now his turn to blush in embarrassment.

Asher stood up and sighed "I guess you are right," "I can't believe that you and your elders thought that," I said as I stood up "I guess you guys aren't as smart as I thought you were," I said as I began to walk towards the bathroom, and let's just say I was not surprised that he didn't like what I had just said.

I was now pinned against the wall. Asher's eyes were dark. Dam this man can't control his anger. My mind started to wonder. do I be a smartarse and push some more buttons or should I just say sorry?

Asher moved to my ear and whispered "don't test my patience Ally," I bit my lip as his hot breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine, "I didn't mean to upset you," I replied. Asher's eyes went back to normal.

" Good," he said, stepping back. "now let's go to bed," he said, walking back to bed.

I rolled my eyes "I will go to bed but I'm not having s*x with you," I said as I made my way to bed. Asher turned to face me.

" That's fine, we already did it today anyway," he replied while winking at me, I'm not going to lie.

It kinda pissed me off.

That night I had a dream of seeing Jo, but what was weird about it was I was pregnant and where we were was dark and cold.

Jo had some wounds and I told her everything was going to be fine. I looked around the room and it looked like a dungeon. One of my legs was chained. The chain was bolted to the wall, but Jo wasn't chained. Maybe the people who locked us in here didn't think she was a threat because of her wounds.

A man I didn't know walked into the room, pulled me to my feet, and told me to stay still. He then cuffed my hands and unchained my leg all while Jo was asking him to leave me alone.

I told Jo to stop and be quiet. I was afraid that he was going to hurt her. For talking, the man pulled me out of the room and locked the door behind us, "where are you taking me?" I asked and his reply was "the boss is ready to see you,"

I was becoming very scared and held my baby bump and tried to stay calm as the man led me to his boss.

Once we were at the boss's door, I began to panic and fight back. It was no use.

The man threw me at his boss's feet. I looked up at the boss but I couldn't make out who he was. All I could see was a shadow in the shape of a man.

I closed my eyes, but when I opened them, I was back in Asher's room. He was sitting next to me looking confused, "are you ok?" he asked I nodded my head. "umm, yeah, it was just a bad dream" I said with my shaky voice, but it felt like it was real, Asher moved closer to me "I'll get the maids to bring up your breakfast" he said then kissed my forehead, "thanks" I replied.
