We both stared at the result of the two DNA test. I sighed and put the paper down after reading it and conforming to the result. I don't know what to feel. I would have been happy because, finally, we already saw the lost granddaughter of Don Alvarez, and we can now fulfill the promise that was made from our lolo, but instead of being happy, my chest feels heavy.
Negative siya sa tumayong ama niya at positive naman siya sa DNA nila ni Don Alvarez. She is Affeya Alvarez.
"Positive. She is really the daughter of Tita Greta," Janica said softly katulad ko ay nagulat, pero napangiti rin kalaunan, hindi gaya ko na nanatiling seryoso.
"What's your plan now?" I glanced at dad when he asked me that, na para bang ako ang dapat na mag desisyon ngayon.
