NATHAN'S POV
Carter had been at my place for hours now and his countenance hadn't improved one bit.
"I need to leave." He suddenly spoke up.
"Back home? You want me to drive you back?"
"Not home. I don't think I'm ready to see her yet. I will be at Melanie's place. She needs me after the turn out of event today. I need to explain everything to her and let her know the wedding would still take place." I didn't know how I felt about his last statement.
