Chapter 6: Mystery

641 Words
When I saw my ex outside my front door, I just didn’t want to deal with him anymore, so I ran. It's not that I fear him because I’m not, it’s that I am worried if I talked to him, he would manipulate me to come back, and I don’t want to do that. I ended up in the meadow that Sinister had taken too. I don’t know why I went there just because I did, and it felt safe. While I was standing there thinking about what to do, I heard some sticks breaking and turned around to see Sinister walking towards me. This must mean that he lives nearby. When I saw him, I had to run to give him a hug. I just couldn’t contain myself. He rubbed my back OK, telling me everything was OK, and for once I believed that it was. He told me to come with him, so I did. When we came out of the woods, I saw this big house and a whole lot of people standing outside just staring at me. It really makes me feel embarrassed and I try to hide behind him, but he doesn’t let me. He whispers. I have nothing to be scared or nervous about, so hold my head up high. He says Hi to everyone and tells me to follow him inside. There is something he needs to tell me, so I do. We go into this gorgeous room that I think is a library; it has books on every wall, and they go from the floor to almost the ceiling. He takes me over to this very cushioned oversized chair and kneels in front of me. I am so nervous at this point that I feel like I could puke. He looks into my eyes while holding my hand and tells me he doesn’t want me scared and that he would never hurt me. This freaks me out and I am borderline ready to make a run for it, but I try to smile and say I know. He proceeds to tell me that while he looks like a human, he can also change into a huge wolf and that he is the alpha. I laugh hysterically at this point because, I swear, he is joking and trying to be funny. He tells me with conviction that he is not joking and then changes right in front of my eyes to a huge grey wolf. I am scared to death, and as much as my brain is telling me to run, I am frozen from fear in this chair. The wolf comes closer and rubs his big head against my face, and its body against my legs. I am shaking and freaking out. I don’t know what to do. About the time I am getting my bearings and am ready to run, he changes back and is standing in front of me completely naked. I have never seen a body that looked like it could have been sculpted from clay before him. His broad shoulders and chiseled abs, down to the very sculpted V shape right before his manhood. The fear that I had is now gone. I have never been turned on so much in my life by just looking at someone. I try to keep my eyes looking at his eyes, but they just keep glancing and roaming all over his exquisite frame. He takes my face gently into his hands, stares directly into my eyes and says, “if you never want to be around me again, I understand. But I will fight for you until my dying breath.” When he says this, I now have realized that even this won’t scare me away from this man and I lean forward and kiss him like my life depends on it.
