CHAPTER 5 I WANT TO TASTE YOU

"Let's get married" Mr Brandy said.
Chloe was shocked. Tho Mr Brandy is on her level and she would have gladly accepted him, but she only has eyes for Roger now and doesn't care about status or position anymore.
"This would have been the best union. But I am afraid I can't accept your proposal, I have someone else" Chloe said as a matter of fact.
"You have someone else? But how come I have never heard of it? Or are you in a secret relationship? There are only 2 men you can marry in this country and that is me, and Mr Song, but you both are rivals, so, who are you in a relationship with? Or are you dating someone abroad?"
Chloe checked her watch and stood up.
"I have to go now Mr Brandy. As for that, it can't work. I have someone else." Chloe picked up her bag and walked out in a hurry.
Jack, Mr Brandy's assistance walked to him.
"Find out who Miss Wallace is seeing"
Chloe rushed into her office, and was relieved when her assistant told her Roger hasn't come yet. She touched up her makeup and arranged her office. After sometimes, someone knocked.
"Come in" Chloe said with a sweet voice.
Mr Donald, the PR director walked in, he saw the CEO's cold face and suddenly realized that she must have been expecting someone else. No wonder she spoke softly just now.
"I suddenly forgot to bring the other file, I'll come back later" Mr Donald quickly rush out. Chloe was satisfied with his thoughtfulness and reminded herself to give him a bonus later. Something she has never done before!.
Joyce finally knocked and walked in with Roger following behind.
"Joyce get Mr Black a cup of coffee"
"Mr Black you're late. You should have heard from people that I don't condone lateness" Chloe said with a cold face.
"I am sorry. My car broke down on the way" Roger apologized.
"It broke down out of the blues? What brand is it?" Chloe asked, curious.
"It broke down because it is old. It is the 2001 Lexus LS 430 " Roger said.
"What? That car is old school. Mr Black don't you earn enough from your culinary skills or do you just charge people little amounts?" Chloe asked, disgusted.
That car is just $8000. So cheap!
"I don't have to spend all my savings on an expensive car. As long as I can get something cheap that will take me to my destination, I am okay" Roger said truthfully.
Although he is not rich, he can still afford a $100,000 car.
"I see. So, what do you want to talk about?" Chloe asked, changing the topic.
"Here is a list of the dishes, please go through it" Roger dropped a document on the table.
"I am quite busy now, so, I'll check it later and get back to you tomorrow" Chloe said.
"Alright. I'll take my leave" Together stood up.
"Do you want to have lunch with me?" Chloe suddenly asked.
"Miss Wallace, I don't eat outside actually" Roger replied politely.
"Can you take me home and cook for me then?" Chloe asked.
Roger was taken aback.
"Home?" He asked
"It can be yours or mine, I am just hungry and I want to taste you" Chloe said with a mischievous smile.
"Taste me?" Roger asked, getting confused.
"Your food" Chloe replied with a smile.
Roger didn't refuse, it's just cooking a meal for her, it's not a big deal.
They both entered the elevator...
Chloe drove into the Manor
Roger looked around. Isn't this The Spelling Manor people do gush about?
"This Manor is yours?" Roger asked.
"Yes. Welcome to my small space" Chloe said, leading him inside.
"You call this your small space? This is definitely not small to me" Roger said, looking around, unable to keep his cool.
The interior design, the arts, the paintings...
"Welcome back madam" Nina, the house keeper greeted as she rush out of the kitchen.
"Madam I didn't know you would come early, I would have prepared lunch"
"Don't worry. I...."
The commotion outside interrupted her.
"Leave me alone, I want to see my sister"
A girl suddenly barged into the living room, with the gate keeper chasing after her.
"What the f*ck is going on here?" Chloe asked angrily. She doesn't understand why a stranger is running around her Manor.
"I'm sorry ma'am. She has been outside all day, saying she wants to meet you, I told her you're not around, but she insisted on waiting outside, she sneaked inside when I was trying to pack the bags in the boot." Dale said explained.
"Throw her out" Chloe shouted angrilly.
"No,no you can't throw me out. I was told this is my sister's house. Our parent left us, you can't leave me too" Jane cried.
Chloe was confused. She has experienced plenty girls in the past pretending to be her sister, what about this one? Is she pretending too? Come to think of it, she has some features as her sister.
"What nonsense are you spouting out, I don't have a sister, so, get out!"
"If you send me out, they will catch me again and you'll never be able to see me anymore. Since we got separated at the orphanage, someone adopted me, and they turn out to be child traffickers, and since then, I have been doing all sort of dirty jobs, I've missed you so much sister, please don't throw me out." Jane she'd crocodile tears.
Chloe was taken aback. Could she really be her sister? The story she narrated now made Chloe pity her and she has the same eyes and lips as her sister. Even Roger pitied her, looking at her tears and condition.
"And why should I believe you?" Chloe suddenly asked coldly.
Jane was scared, but still mustered courage to reply her.
"Because I have a big birth mark on my thigh and the injury on my back" Jane said. Ace is a renowned hacker and he was able to find what will clear Chloe's doubts and suspicions.
Chloe was speechless for a while. Her sister really has a big birth mark on her thigh and an injury on her back inflicted on her by her classmates, but her sister Lola was only 4 years old then, and couldn't possibly remember the injury.
"Sister, I know you still have some doubt, but mum will be angry in heaven if you throw me out and those people catch me again" Jane suddenly said, making Chloe speechless for a while.
