Chapter 7

Christine POV

I finally got ready since Gabe and I are going to the mall to get our hair and nails down, then shop for the perfect outfits I decided to just wear something comfortable

A pink tank top, white stack joggers, and my black slides as I was cleaning up my room and began cleaning the rest of the house I heard my phone ringing and went back to my room to answer

I automatically roll my eyes seeing it was my mom

"Hello?" I ask answering the phone

"I was just calling to let you know your father and I won't be home for at least a month." Mom says and I roll my eyes already knowing this would happen

"Okay. " I said hanging up since there was no need for further conversation and I plop down on my bed sighing

I don't exactly have the best relationship with my parents, they don't even have the best relationship with each other, but they do have a great business partner relationship like they can tolerate and even get along when it comes to working together

But acting as husband and wife leads to disaster that's why my three oldest siblings moved out as soon as they hit eighteen it won't be long for me since my birthday is approaching fast

My phone rings again and I look at the screen seeing it was Gabe calling this time I quickly grab my wallet (Yes unlike most girls I prefer a wallet) and haul ass to the front door seeing her car parked in front of my house

I made sure I had the house keys and the alarm system was on before I lock the door running towards Gabe's car getting in

"You always ready." Gabe sasses and I scoff

"And you ass always late now c'mon girl I don't wanna make a grand entrance at this party with these prunes I called fingers." I said and Gabe laughs while I buckle up she takes off towards the mall and starts talking about Dewayne again

"Girl how fly I'm about to be at this party is going to guarantee me some zaddy dick." Gabe says sticking her tongue out

"Girl put your tongue back in flashing that man kids on yo tongue like that." I say in disgust and she rolls her eyes

"Girl at least I got man who kids I can flash." Gabe smart mouth ass says and I gasp

"Yeen have to go there." I said giving her the straight face

"Hush girl you love me." Gabe says cutely as we finally make it to the mall, Gabe finds a decent parking space and we head in for a whole makeover
