Midnight Royal Wolves

Collin POV

I read the book fascinated.

A royal wolf may have a fated mate or a chosen mate. They need to mate with Alpha bloodlines to continue the heritage.

I skip through the lineage of all the royals and continue.

The Midnight black wolf is the second to rarest wolf type. A midnight wolf is born once every thousand years. The most rare is the snow white wolf.

I think for a moment about my golden wolf Blaze and have a strong desire to see Mina and Grey’s wolves. I continue to read.

Midnight wolves have three potential fated mates. One is her protector, one her comforter and the last her balancer. Each mate has an important role in their life. The wolf may choose to accept or reject each mate individually.

Please don’t reject me Mina. My mind races.

Collin: Blaze which one are you.

Blaze: Collin, I don’t know. I am still trying to understand how I can share her.

Collin: I laugh in my mind. We will do what we need.

Blaze: I think Grey is the comforter. He even tried to comfort us.

Collin: I agree with that. So we are the protector or balancer.

Blaze: His thoughts fade as he retreats to the back of Collin’s mind.

I continue reading the book from cover to cover before my mind drifts off into a deep sleep.

Collin’s dream

I am in a field of strawberries and I smile because they smell like her. A woman in a pure white dress walks slowly towards me. Her power makes me kneel.

Woman: Stand my child.

I stand and look at her. Her long black hair blows out behind her as her silver eyes look into mine. She looks like the night sky is all I can think. My voice sounds foreign to me.

Collin: Who are you?

Woman: You know me my child.

Collin: Moon Goddess!

I start to drop again but she stops me.

Woman: You may call me Selene and yes I am. Collin, Collin you nearly killed the one made for you.

Shame fills my face and I feel the sting of tears come to my eyes. Before I can speak she does.

Selene: But you are forgiven.

My tears really do fall now. My heart hurting so badly.

Collin: I don’t deserve it.

Selene: Of course you do. I need you to be strong for your mates. Each of them have been hurt so much in this life. Abused and their innocence stolen in the worse of ways. Grey, Mina and your third. You are the protector and need to help each of them heal. Even now your third suffers in silence. You have a great journey ahead of you and you must be the balancer also for this. I see two paths one light and one dark. You must help them choose the right path and to find their strengths.

I have so many questions.

Collin: Am I the protector but also the balancer? Where do we find the third. How will I fix them. Am I strong enough? What about the pack? She smiles at me.

Selene: These are things you will have to discover in your own. Your pack will be fine. There is another coming to watch over them. Wake now, you have much to make up for.

I wake startled but happy. The goddess trust me. Now I just need to make up to my mate. I head in a hurry down to the kitchen. Today is the day I will start to win my mates back and make my pack stronger and I will start by making my mates breakfast.
