Collin POV:
I watch her walk away and my heart breaks. My whole world has crumbled. My pack I thought was perfect was just a mask. The mute mutt I tortured is my mate. She is absolutely beautiful in every way and I rejected her. I feel a numbness as I walk up the stairs. I can smell her strawberry and cream scent and Grey’s Sandalwood. I can’t help but follow. I stand outside their door for awhile then take the room next to them. I can’t hear them but I can feel her break down. I feel her vulnerability through the bond. Did I really reject her or was Grey telling the truth about the name thing? She didn’t accept it so the bond hasn’t broken. I lay down and try to talk to Blaze. I feel like he is the only one I have left right now.
Collin: Blaze?
Blaze: She is with him.
Collin: I know...but we have no right to say anything.
Blaze: I would tell you how much I told you so but I can feel how broken you and I are.
Collin: Why didn’t you fight Grey? Why does it not hurt as bad as it should?
Blaze: I know but.... I can’t say till you and Mina realize.
I am pulled from my thoughts as there is a knock at my door. I walk over and open it.
Lilly (an omega) stands at the door.
Collin: Can I help you Lilly?
My voice is raw as I look at her she holds out a tray.
Lilly: Alpha Collin, Grey sent this to you.
She sets the tray on the bed side table and looks back at me. Alpha?
Collin: Lilly I am not the alpha. She looks at me and smiles softly.
Lilly: Don’t worry you still will be.
I don’t know what to say but I look at the shy little wolf and take the smallest of comfort in her words needing the reassurance.
Collin: How do you know?
Lilly: I am a seerer.
I am completely surprised. Seerers are rare and never omegas.
Collin: Lilly if you are a seerer why are you an omega?
Lilly: Someone got mad at my visions and tainted my rank testing. It is ok though I like to serve I just don’t like the punishments.
Collin: Lilly is it true. Everything that was said tonight? How bad omegas have it?
Lilly: It is worse then what was shown...and. No never mind.
Collin: No please tell me. I feel like people have kept me in the dark and lied to me my whole life.
Lilly: The worse was what was done to Millie...I mean Mina. She couldn’t even walk for three days. Grey took care of her. One day if you truly want to know what happened to your mate I can show you.
Collin: You can do that?
Lilly: Yes it is like seeing the vision through my mind.
Collin: Thank you Lilly. I think it is Mina’s secret to tell if and when she feels she can. I have a lot to make up for.
Lilly: Yes Sir you do.
She bows and heads out. I look at the tray. There is a cup of hot tea with an odd scent. I pick up the note:
Grey have some tea it’s Earl grey.
Oh funny, I think to myself as I continue reading.
And some food because after tonight I am sure you need it. By now Mina is in my arms and you are probably pretty upset. I bet part of you wants to rip me apart but something is holding you back. Weird right. You need to read this book and it will explain. I will give you a spoiler though. Mina is my mate also. She has three mates. She doesn’t know all this yet and with how much stress these next few days will be I trust you to keep this information to yourself.
Collin you have a lot to make up for. I can’t even begin to tell you but I do wish you luck as a brother mate. For now try to sleep and tomorrow get a game plan to fix what you broke. I will help if I can.

I read the letter a few more times my mind is in chaos. I sip tea and start reading a book on midnight wolves and royal bloodlines.
