The Female Alpha And Her Mate

*Dylan’s POV* BACK STORY* My father had passed away a few years ago and instead of finding my mate and becoming Luna of the pack, I decided to be the Alpha. It was not as easy as one would think, your pack becomes your family and you would do anything to protect your family. My pack was everything to me, I didn’t care for a mate. Honestly I didn’t want to live under a man, everyone knows even though a Luna and alpha are supposed to be equals toxic masculinity always gets in the way. So instead of giving someone, who did not care about my pack, power over me and my pack I took the role of Alpha knowing I would take good care of my pack and have their best interests at heart. My mom, acting Luna was throwing herself in work as she did not know what to do with herself after my dad was killed. However since my dads death was not natural nor an accident I made sure to double my packs training, strength and warriors so my mom took it upon herself to up her Luna duties. I felt bad to be honest, she wasn’t young and I know this was stressful and she probably could not wait for me to find my mate but I just could not let a man have that power over me. I decided to make allies. Our pack was growing, and no just with size but strength too. Since becoming Alpha I had females begin training too this wasn’t the 1800s anymore. *PRESENT DAY* I was sitting in my office when there was a knock at my door. “Come in”, it was my betas Elsa and Elijah they were twins, they decided to take the position together. “Alpha, we received a letter from The Moonlight pack.” It was Elijah, he was more of the formal one Elsa on the other hand was more savage, great in battle but not one for paperwork and formalities. However the twins were inseparable so they would follow one another everywhere. Elijah handed me the not I said thank you and dismissed them. I opened the letter to find that the Moonlight had accepted our meeting proposal to discuss a possible alliance. I was to meet with their Alpha tomorrow at noon they had offered to host us for the night so I mind linked the betas and our gamma, Reece to pack an overnight bag and meet me at the car in an hour and a half. We reached the Moonlight pack at 3 in the afternoon. As we got to the the pack borders we were greeted by Alpha Jason and Luna Jessica. “Good afternoon Alpha Jason and Luna Jessica.” “Good afternoon Alpha Dylan, we assume the journey was a bit lengthy and tiring. I will have my head servant, Ellie show you to your rooms. Dinner will be served at 6 until then make yourselves at home.” Ellie led us to the second floor where she announced that my betas and gamma would be staying then led me to the third floor. “Alpha Jason and Luna Jessica thought it would be more appropriate for you to stay on the third floor with them for more privacy.” I just smiled at her. “Please Alpha if you need anything just call.” She bowed and left.
