Heaven & Hell - Animonsters

For centuries, humans had lived in peace with magnificent and powerful creatures denominated Animonsters. These beings were believed to have evolved from animals after suffering unknown mutations, thus being able to control elements. Based on the power orientations of a race of animonsters, they could be divided in four different groups: Earth, Ocean, Flame and Wind. These creatures were unable to speak human language, but were incredibly smart and would easily understand commands and express themselves through body language. This factor made it possible for humans to befriend them, creating strong bonds between the two species - the stronger the bond, the better they could understand each other. The good relationship between humans and animonsters made it possible for them to cohexist in the same environment, work together, keep each other company and build a harmonic and peaceful community. Unfortunately, human supremacy always speaks louder. At some point, there was a misunderstanding and Animonsters started being seen as a threat, thus erupting into a violent and long war between the two species. Unable to physically beat the powerful creatures, humans created a terrible weapon that would finally win the war. After many losses on both sides, the Animonsters were dizimated by the machine, which almost caused their extinction. Only 10% of the creatures' population survived - but not unscarred. The radiation powers of the weapon caused the remaining animonsters to suffer mutations, some of which enabled them to fully understand and speak the human language. In order to finally bring the species to extinction, laws were created to encourage hunting and prohibit any form of contact between humans and monsters. But, fortunately, a few individuals missed their partners and tried to protect Animonsters, keeping secret from the government. A hundred years after the end of the war, Caroline Kavanagh was born. Raised by her Animonster-loving mom in a hidden farm, surrounded by a few of these creatures, she is decided to fight for the rights of the remaining beings and put an end to the killing. But the world is getting more dangerous everyday and she's gonna have to adapt if she wants to make it.
