Lory and Sean was dating for three years on and of. At age 15 Lory left school cause LeAnn refused to pay the school fees. Teachers would bring letters printed on red paper to class, handed it to Lory, saying " your parents owe the school a lot of money" if they don't pay soon we won't release you're reports. All the other kids would stare at her. She could not take the humiliation anymore, so she left school and started working at a local take away cafè. One evening she came from work. It was a cold winters evening, and she had a very busy day as it was end of the month. Seemed like everyone was eating take out on the same day. When she entered the gate she could hear loud music and laughter, the smell of meat on a barbecue was in the air. Sean's car was parked in front of the garage. She went around the house and found LeAnn, Charles and Sean sitting at the fire, drinking. Hey everyone, she greeted and sat down with a sigh of relief to just sit down for the first time today. Sean was drunk and she could see he had some sort of issue with her, but she was really just to tired to ask. After the meat was done she went to dish up. She placed Sean's food on a tray like she always did and took it to him. "Sean looked at her with almost a glare of hatred" he grabbed the tray from her and threw it at her. What the hell Sean! What's wrong with you? Lory you come in hear you don't kiss me, you just place your a@## on a chair and expect me to be happy! Dammit Sean! I have been on my feet all day long at work, while you were having a party. I come home you are drunk and rude, you selfish pig! So what Lory? Do you expect me to just sit here all day and wait for you? That will be a cold day in hell! Sean I really am done this time get out! I will, and as a matter of fact I will drive myself under a coal truck! That way you will be rid of me forever. Sean walked to the front gate, but Lory beat him to it and opened the gate for him. Please do drive under a coal truck Sean, I am sick and tired of this. Sean sped of leaving Lory standing on the sidewalk crying. LeAnn came outside looked at her daughter and said: "Now you have done it, you were way out of line." Mom, Lory was crying so hard she could hardly talk. You saw him throwing me with that tray of food! How can you take his side? Lory ran to her room, she fell on the bed her whole body shaking of utter shock. After she calmed down she realised she told Sean to kill himself under a coal truck. Oh my word! What have I done? What if he really did it? Lory could not sleep, she was worried and angry, the hurt was numbed by the thoughts Sean might be lying dead next to a dirt road in the cold dark night. The next morning there was a knock on the door, just as Lory was about to brush her teeth. She ran and opened the door. Sean stood there, still in the clothes he had on when he left last night. Smelling of last night's brandy. She looked at him her heart saying thank God he is alive but her brain saying "what the f@#$ is he doing here?" Lory I am sorry about last night. I don't know what came over me. Sean I don't want to talk to you. She turned around and walked to her room closing the bedroom door behind her. She could hear LeAnn talking to Sean, but she could not hear what they talked about. A few minutes later Sean knocked on her bedroom door. Lory I need to talk to you please. No Sean leave me alone! Lory I will leave after I spoke to you. Talk Sean I'm listening! Lory I truly am sorry, I drank to much, I didn't eat and I was wrong. I will give you a week to overthink our relationship then I'll be back. Sean left. Four days later Lory turned 16, she was visiting a friend down the street for the day. Playing video games and chatting. Late that afternoon when she went home she found Sean in the lounge sitting next to LeAnn. Hi Sean, what are you doing here? Happy birthday Lory. I came to talk to you about us. I love you Lory and I don't want to lose you. I promise I will never drink again. Please give me a chance to fix this. Sean I don't know, for three years now we were having a on and of relationship. I can't keep going through this. Lory I need to talk to you now! Mom we are busy taking. Now Lory! Excuse me Sean, I'll be right back. "Listen Lory, Sean is a good guy if you don't marry him, I will divorce your father and marry him." What? Mom how can you even think of doing this? What about my young baby sisters? Lory I'm telling you marry him or I will! Sean ok I will give us a chance. But promise me you will never drink again. I promise Lory, I promise. Just then LeAnn entered the lounge with a devious grin on her face. "Oh lovely, you guys sorted the problem". We must celebrate tonight! Ok mom but Sean promised no more drinking. Sean just sat there looking like a cat who received a bowel of milk.
