"Come on sunshine. There is something I want to show you". Jackson grabs my hand and pulls me up some stairs that turn out to lead to the roof of the hotel. In the distance, from the harbour, I can hear ships blow their horn, signalling they are about to leave port.
I follow him, wondering what he has in mind. He pulls me through a door and out on the flat roof. "Jackson it is pouring down out there".
"Come on, a little rain never hurt anyone and I'll be happy to help you get out of the wet clothes after". He pulls gently at my hand and I follow him outside. Hearing the music from the beach club. Despite the rain, they are having a big party down there.
Honestly I am happy for some fresh air after two days in bed getting pampered and recovering after my ordeal.
