42: The truth hurts

   *Jackson*  I spend the early morning watching her sleep, the guilt has started to eat at me. It’s not right to keep lying to her. I love her and she loves me. Maybe she will forgive me if I tell her the truth and why I lied.  She stretches and smiles at me. “Morning my handsome husband”.  “Morning”. I lean down to kiss her softly.  “So what are we doing today”. She looks curiously at me.  I cradled her jaw, and can feel her pulse thrumming against my fingers. “We need to talk first”.  "Yes, all right".  Where do I even begin ? With my discovery of her in the lake ? Before that, with the kiss she seems to almost remember, the kiss in the elevator.  I hear the door to the main room open then close. Ines gives me a questioning glance. “Are you expecting someone ?" She asks.  “No”
