Prologue
In a large empire named Goya there are four kingdoms in the empire, the story focuses on Rafera kingdom.
The ruler of Rafera kingdom was king Dre, King Dre has been king since after the demise of his father, king Dre was feared and respected he was called the hot & cold king. The reason for the nickname was because the people never lacked anything, he always passes fair judgment to the poor, but one thing about him was that he was a careless killer, he was like a lion, when his tail is stepped on you’ll won’t even get a chance to explain yourself, life’s were lost even that of the guilty and the innocent.
King Dre had just one queen who bared him two sons but king Dre had three sons. How ?????
When king Dre was still a young king he had an affair with servant ignoring his newly weeded wife, he’ll call the servant anytime he needed her and he’ll have his way with her, she was very beautiful with a long hair and alarming blue eyes. She couldn’t complain to anyone about what the king does to her, she was an orphan, even the privileged can’t fight against the king talk more of an orphan.
Meanwhile the king promised his late father that he would have just one wife, Dre’s father had just one wife she bared just one son who was Dre, King Dre’s father was raised in a polygamous family and he went through a lot, that’s the reason he had just one wife and also urged his son to do the same.
King Dre had loved the servant the very first time he saw her, he had tried so much to control the fervor but she was just more than beautiful. King Dre had so many naughty nights with her.....so many until she finally got pregnant , she told him about it and it got him flustering , he couldn’t allow his name fall down the mound, so he gave her so much money and asked her to leave Rafera... before leaving she took an oath that she or her child will never return to Rafera. Without hesitation she took the money and ran away from the kingdom.
Months later there was a child in the gate of the king’s castle, a bold note was kept on his little body “ He is king Dre’s son” everyone in the castle was so surprised, but to be a servant in the castle you have to act blind or else you want to die.
Fortunately for king Dre the queen just gave birth to a son, thus he made it seem like she birthed twin sons to keep the secret..... the priest already confirmed that he was Dre’s son. The secret was supposed to be taken to the grave so he told everyone who heard it.
Queen Zenith raised both children as twin, she was very hurt that the responsible king had cheated on her. It was mysterious why the servant didn’t keep her promise.
The birth of the illegitimate son was very difficult, his was born in the day as early as 3pm but the sky was dark as the night, it was remarkable day in the whole Goya empire but unknown to them that it was because a different being was born in their realm. The servant the king had impregnated wasn’t a human, she was a wolf, from a far away mountain that ran to the human realm for shelter. Her child was definitely going to be cursed and she knew it, mating with humans was a sin, and bearing a child was a bigger SIN.
Three years later the queen gave birth to twin children for real this time a boy and a girl making the first lie to seem true,
To king Dre he had just three children he had never treated the servant’s child as his. The young prince had fallen ill when he was seven, a strange illness that no one could understand, when he sneezed the whole castle vibrates. The high priest had confirmed that he was a cursed child, he was body accommodating the spirit of a mountain wolf, and that was something king Dre also kept from his subjects.
Seeing the servant’s child always reminds queen Zenith that her husband had cheated on her. Their actions towards the little boy was different making the children understand that he was odd, he’s so called twin brother will always call him an unwanted fly anytime they argued and the rest of them would laugh at him. He once got angry and almost choked his brother to death but that action almost cost him his life, he was thrown into the dungeon for days without food or water. He suffered so much that he became coy....also constricting his strength.
