Alpha William carried his wife into the hall, bridal style. All were shocked at her beauty. She looked so yummy! Still, some girls, especially Tina Powell, were pissed. She dug her long red fingernails into her palms, causing them to bleed. She bit her lips in ire.

"He is mine. He should be mine. You b*tch, you don't deserve him, you piece of garbage." Tina cussed internally.

"I know you are unhappy. But you gotta be smart and accept the fact that Mira is my mate. If you are still not reconciled, I'll marry you off to some poor mateless Alpha in the next country. What do you think?" William mindlinked the annoyed Tina Powell.

She stopped showing her unhappiness and beamed when the Alpha stared at her. But seeing his fierce look, she lowered her head in submission.

William carried his Luna to the stage and sat on the chair meant for him to sit. He then placed her on his lap.

"Put me down, people are watching!" Mira weakly protested.

"Let them see. Look, when you bite your lips, when you blink those pretty eyes, I just want to kiss you every moment," he whispered and planted a kiss on her forehead.

Many were applauding, but some whispered that she just made the king waste his energy for nothing. She won't be birthing a child anytime soon, for she was a barren tree.

"William?" Mira called in a whisper.

"Today, we are all gathered here for a special occasion. And those of us who also found our mates on this day can also be celebrated. I'm here to celebrate my 5th anniversary with Luna Mira and I know for a fact that you don't like her coz she's human but I want you all to respect her. When you see her, you are seeing me." he showed them a bite mark on Mira's left hand.

"This is my authority vested in her. If anyone of you makes half of a strand of her hair fall off, I will get you ousted from the pack. We White Flames are not the strongest, but we ain't weak either. And I know the main reason you are dissatisfied, is because until now, I still can't father an heir. To be honest, I'm pretty much ready to hand over my position next year to whoever is capable. I will not get a side chick because of a child. Heavens knows best if I'm worthy of this honour. Now you can continue the enjoyment." he declared and kissed Mira's cleavage, provoking all those girls who wanted to be eaten by his c**k and get a chance to overthrow that useless Luna Mira in time. He’d just crushed their hopes!

"Williams, why is your arousal harder?" she whispered to him and he drew her close.

"I need you to do me a favour. Please stay right here. I need to get some cold drinks to push it down till we retire for the night. Okay?"

Mira nodded and he placed a kiss on her forehead before leaving. She sat nervously on the chair and stared at the others having fun.

Some who served as waitresses today offered her food and drink which she accepted with gratitude but they hissed.

"Barren tree!" they cursed and left.

Mira didn't take it to heart. She was used to it by now and continued eating her food. After 7 minutes, she felt the need to go to the bathroom and decided to leave the venue. She entered the ladies' bathroom and heard some suggestive sounds coming from one of the three bathroom stalls.

She shook her head. Probably, someone just found their mate and decided to just seal the bond by mating right away. There was no need for concern for it was part of the norm. She'd just do her thing and let them have their deserved moment of privacy.

Werewolves did not care about being naked after shifting. But they didn't like it if one disturbed their mating. It was private, just like normal humans. Besides, she was just a hated Luna. She shouldn't get herself into unneeded trouble.

But when she listened to the sounds again, it felt weird. It was the sound of two men. She decided to use her super hearing and realized that one was being forced.

Her eyes widened, and she covered her mouth. She used her divine eyesight to see who was inside and found that it was the Beta who was being used by a man who didn't belong to the pack.

How did such a person get in? Were there more of his people at the party? Were they here to ruin the pack? No, she must do something!

She ran out and returned to the Alpha seat. She saw her husband and apologized for the wait.

"Dear, did you visit the ladies' room?" he questioned.

"Yeah. Follow me, I got something to tell you," she said with urgency.

"Okay." her husband nodded.

When they were away from all the noise, she told him that there were enemies in the party and one was busy rap*ng his Beta right now in the ladies' bathroom.

He was shocked and angry, but she implored him to not let his Alpha pressure circulate because it might alert the enemy and startle the pack. And the Beta would probably not want to be found in such a miserable state by the pack. Would he be able to recover from it?

"You have a point," he said and they headed to the female bathroom. Reaching there, the erotic sounds could still be heard.

William kicked the particular bathroom cubicle's door open and saw his Beta, Bruce Jades, completely nude, gagged and being pounded by a masked man from behind.

He was silently crying and had bruises all over his body. He could not struggle against the villain after being beaten into submission.

At once, William's fury rose. He grabbed the startled offender and dragged him out of the bathroom. He started thrashing him and the man finally showed he was an Alpha too. They both transformed into wolves.

William's wolf was blue, while the enemy wolf's fur colour was black. They ran out of the bathroom to have an epic fight in the open field.

Mira immediately took a towel and walked back into the bathroom cubicle where Bruce Jades lay weakly.

"Here, take this." she threw the towel at him while looking away.

"Luna... I... can't." he managed to speak. He was having a hard time breathing and eventually fainted. Mira sighed upon seeing this.

"Guess I have to finish up now," she said in her heart.

She made her Fae-Siren scepter appear and used its siren magical energy to heal the wound inside his ass and other parts of his body a little. She then covered him with the towel. She did all this without looking back. When she was done, she walked out of the bathroom section.

Not long after, Beta Bruce woke up. He felt pain but it was tolerable, especially at his rear end. He looked at the Luna and saw that she was reading something on the net while seated on a stool outside the restroom.

He tried to get up but the towel fell from his waist. Luckily, the was immersed in what she was reading and didn't see this scene. He quickly concealed his nudity, walked slowly to her with wobbly legs and then knelt.

"My sacred Luna, I'm sorry. I made you worry. I was incompetent!" he said with his head bowed.

"No, I feel sorry for you but the deed’s already done. We found out too late." she sighed.

"No, Luna. You helped me despite all the nasty things I did whenever Alpha wasn't around. I'm sorry. You saved my dignity and chance to find a mate. Thank you so much." he kept his head bowed despite her telling him to stop, driving her to sigh in defeat.

"It's fine. You are hurt. Go to the pack’s hospital. Don't be ashamed to show the doctor your rear, okay?" she suggested with a small smile and he nodded.

He got up and walked to the entrance, where he immediately transformed into a brown wolf and ran out after bowing his head once more.

She smiled. "That felt good. Anyway, I need to go see what my hubby is doing with that sick Alpha." she thought and vanished.
