Chapter 20: Crazy people being enchilados

His brothers are so cute, I like them a lot.

I kept walking and every time I looked back, Louie and Joe were still standing there, watching me, and waving at me, they are so cute, I loved them jajajaja

I finally got to the end of the block and before turning right I looked back and they were still there, I lifted my arm to wave at them bye and they saw me and responded with the same gesture.

I turned right and kept walking until I reached home.

I did my usual routine when I get home every day, but today is Friday, that is cool, weekend yeiiii.

 In the afternoon I sat out on the steps of my house porch.

I watched my brother, and the neighbors play football.

My two cousins, Jake one year younger than me and Henry one year younger than Jake, were there too. They live with their grandparents a few houses away from my house. They moved here around three months ago.

Both are cool but I talk more with Jake.

It is around 8:00 pm and it is night already.

Out of nowhere Leo, Ralph, Alex, and Andrew stopped in front of me, laughing as maniacs and asking me for some glasses of water.

“What happened?” I asked them while looking amazed at them

“We ate lots of salsa, we are enchilados as f uck, please give us water” Alex commented in his silly tone

I just laughed while I stood up to get inside and bring the glasses of water for them.

I took a tray and placed the 4 tall glasses filled with water.

I walked carefully outside and asked them to get next to the door to grab them, I did not want to step down and fell or throwed them to the floor.

Each one of them took a glass and in one large, long gulp they all drank the whole glass, I just watched them, and I kept laughing, it was so funny watching them sweating and waving their hands to fan some air on their tongues, because of the hot salsa they ate.

“Where were you bunch of dummies?” I asked them

“We were eating tacos around the block in a new place, but we didn't have enough money to buy cokes” Alex explained

“But why are you all enchilados?”

“The spicy salsa was so good we just kept eating and then Leo challenged us” Ralph told me

I looked at Leo and smiled at him “Cous, are you crazy? Why did you challenge them with that? You know Alex is a bit crazy” I asked Leo

Leo kept waving his hands and asked me for another glass of water.

I nodded and then looked at the others and before I could ask if someone else wanted more water, they all nodded at me stretching their arms to give me back the glasses.

I went into the kitchen and filled all the glasses with more water, I was careful not to mix the glasses.

I got back and pointed with my gaze which glasses belonged to whom.

Andrew was the last one to approach me and kept looking at me while taking the glass.

“So, bunch of maniacs, who won the challenge?” I blurted out

“For my surprise, Andrew” Alex replied

I looked at them and nodded while smiling at him “Wow I am surprised; I would never think it could be you”

“Why not me?” he seriously asked but maintaining a strong gaze on me

“I don't know, I just thought it would be one of these crazy personas over here” I answered him smiling and pointing at my cousins

“Plus, you didn't look so enchilado like them when you arrived” I added

He proudly smirked at me and then Leo said with his lower tone voice “That is why he won; he takes spicy food better than we all thought” I smiled at him.

“Ok, does anyone want more water, or that is all?” I asked

They all looked at each other and then nodded at me “You all want more water?” I asked in surprise, all of them nodded yes at me.

I took their glasses again and went back to the kitchen, now my mom asked, “Where are you taking all that water Vanessa?”

I got busted, damn.

“My cousins were eating tacos and got here all enchilados, I am giving them water” I replied

“So much water?”

“It is Alex, Ralph, Leo and a friend of them, but they were really enchilados mom, this is the last time, and it is water, come on” 

She just answered me with a low voice “Ok, last time and then call your brother to get inside, it is late already”

“Ma it is 9:00 pm, a little bit longer, tomorrow is Saturday” I pleaded at her with little baby kitten eyes

She grumbles and then told me “9:30 that’s it, if not, get inside now”

“Thanks Ma” I walked faster outside and gave them the glasses

They all were talking about school stuff and started mocking Alex.

I asked, “What is going on cous?” I looked at Alex

“Nada cous, these morons are just nagging me”

“That is not true he almost got expelled from school today” Ralph corrected Alex comment

I looked in shock at Alex “Really? How so?”

“The discipline dean is just a stuck-up man; he tries to joke with us, but he doesn't take it well when you answer him” he explained

“Obviously not, he is a teacher Alex” I reprimanded him

“But he tries to show off or makes us look bad in front of the ladies and I aren’t taking bullshit from him” he added.

“Well then he is mean, but you need to be smarter than him, don't play his game, just keep serious and respect him, anything else, just ignore him”

“She has a point you dummy” Ralph added

“I know I have it” I winked at them, Andrew was there just contemplating our interactions, with a nice little smile on his lips.

“Guys I need to get inside, it’s 9:30 pm and I don't want my mom to come here screaming at my little bro to get inside, always a pleasure, see you later maniacs!” They nodded and as they took their bikes to get to the sidewalk, I walked to look for my little brother, my cousins were in front of me and Andrew was walking beside me, I looked to my right side and saw him directly to his beautiful eyes that were fixed on me. I felt like a cold tremor as I kept looking at him and him looking at me.

“See you cous” my cousins said, and Andrew muttered ‘thank you’ while he gave a big smile.

They all ride on the street and then Alex screamed at my brother “Hey Bobby, your sister is looking for you”

I just laughed, Alex is the craziest of them all, he just doesn’t care what other people could think of him.

My brother came to me and as we walked back to our house door I looked back and in the corner of the street, there he was, still looking at me, Andrew alone, looking at me.

A far away Alex’s scream “Andyyyyyy” and he just took off.

Oh gosh what is this? Do I like him? Really? Does he like me? What about Claire?

Do I want to be his girlfriend? I got saved by the bell today and didn't answer Larry’s question, but I really don't know, my mom or my older brother, gosh I don't think they will allow me to have a boyfriend.

What would happen if we fought? he is friends with all my cousins and knows my older brother, he is a jealous brother, I don't think he would like me to be with someone he knows, oh gosh, and f uck, I don't know.
