Chapter 19: Yes, they are siblings

The ladies weren’t in the bench anymore, but Andrew was still there with my cousins, the three of them looking at us coming closer and then Ralph came over and wrapped his arm around Larry’s neck “what are you doing with my favorite cousin you dog?”
Larry laughed and got himself out of his hold and answered, “I was talking with my friend, do you have any issue with that?”
“Is he your friend?” He asked and looked at me
“Yep, he is, he even gives me chocolates, that I love by the way” I winked at both of them and then added “I need to hurry because the math teacher gets mad if I arrive late, see you later guys” I waved goodbye at them and hasten my pace.
When I was about to enter the passage, I looked to the other side and saw Andrew looking at me expectantly and trying to say something, but I just waved him a fast bye before entering the passage.
When I got to the other side I looked back as usual and he was there looking at me, as usual. I stopped, turned back to face him, smiled, and waved at him goodbye. Then I walked super-fast to reach the math teacher who was on his way to my classroom.
“Hey teacher, how are you today?” I asked with a smile trying to avoid being scolded or worst punished.
“Great, thanks for asking, and what about you?” He answered not even looking at me and walking fast as hell
“I am great too”
We got in the classroom, and I managed to sit fast enough to be ready before the class started.The classes ended whit the bell rang at the end of the day.
We gathered our things and saved them in our backpacks, but when I looked up the four ladies were all around me, looking at me with the biggest curious eyes, blinking at me.
“What is up with you maniacs?”
I just laughed at them, they are crazy and gossipy, the worst jajajajaja.
They all made gestures and waved their hands and arms in a desperate way, asking me for information, they are so funny.
“I know I know, what do you want to hear?” I told them
“Everything” Lou screamed and made us laugh
“What is going on with Larry” Sandy asked
“Nothing, we were just talking”
They looked at each other and then disbelief showed at their faces
“Ok let me elaborate before asking, ok?” they all nodded, and I continued.
“Yesterday Andrew came to my house with two of my cousins and I think he made them talk and it felt like they were defending him”
“What? seriously Vane?” Steph interrupted and all the ladies hush at her, I smiled and continued
“They even trashed Claire, by them I mean my two cousins Alex and Ralph and when I questioned them, they just trashed her more”
“What did Andrew say?” Sandy asked.
“Nada, he was silent, just there listening, nodding, looking to his bike, oh because that was the ‘excuse’, I opened the door to see Ralph, Alex and Andrew and Ralph asked for my brother, as he obviously wasn't there, they asked me for tools to fix something on their bikes, apparently all their bikes needed fixing, and while I was waiting for them to finish they started asking me about school, if I like someone, and when I asked if Andrew was going to Claire’s house he went silent and the two morons started defending him, like saying, why would he go there, I told them because is his girlfriend and they just laughed loudly about that, then they said, she is not his girlfriend and started saying that she is not girlfriend material and everybody knows how she acts, and when I scolded them for talking like that about our cousin, they just said, everybody knows how you act, like comparing us, you know, and Andrew said nothing, nada, just let them not sure, but it sound like excusing him or defending him, right?”
“Well, first of all, I think he used them, at least that is how it sounds” Sandy answered
“I know right?” I replied at her
“But honestly you think he will tell everything to your cousins, and they will help him, to do, to do what?” Lou added
“I also thought about that, maybe those two dumbs didn't know anything and just followed him not asking, not sure, that is what I was telling and asking Larry”
“Whaaaaat? Is Larry going to help you?” Sandy asked
“He said he will try to get the truth out of Andrew, not today or tomorrow because so obvious but he also told me that he thinks he may be trying to fix the bad impression I have about the Claire situation, and it makes sense, right? He got busted” I added
“I think Larry is right, and Andrew needs to do something bigger about his f ucked up situation” Lou answered
“Let's go, I need to get home” I cut the topic and just pointed at the door
We walked out of the school, and when I walked in front of the house, Andrew was there with the two boys I saw him with last week.
Andrew waved hi to me and the two boys crossed the street to say hello to me and they asked my name, I told them my name and then asked them theirs.
“I am Louie, and he is Joe” I smiled at them, they are really cute and good looking.
“How old are you, Louie?” I asked
“I am almost ten years old, and Joe is eleven” he answered me with a gorgeous smile
“Almost then?” I asked
“Yes, in ten days is my birthday”
“Wow congratulations, and what about him?” I asked looking at Andrew
“Ah he is our older brother; do you know him?” Louie asked
“I know him from school”
“Is it true that you are his girlfriend?” Joe asked
“What? his girlfriend? no, I am not”
They boys laughed and look back at Andrew laughing
“But please don't tell him anything about what we talked about; do you promise?”
They both nodded at me, smiled and then I just waved goodbye at them
“I guess I will see you around, nice to meet you guys”
They waved back and waited for me to walk away before crossing the street to the house.
