No one seeks to restore their lost glory more desperately than a queen who has been publicly humiliated by another powerful figure in front of her subjects. The King has humiliated her and she must restore her honor at any cost. She must assert her power by all means necessary, even if it means daring to challenge the king's authority. Dominica gathered herself from the hard floor, seething in rage and drenched in shame. Ruining her seamlessly perfect plans, by waking up now of all time, wasn't enough, king Deryk went as far as slamming dirt into her face before the people.
