Is it Love or?

Chapter 1: Summer’s Bachelorette Night Summer Ashtons, eldest daughter of the third generation of the Ashtons Family. The Ashtons Family had a listed company, Ashtons Enterprise which business with purchase and sale of properties, then further on to property development, property marketing and property management, was at the private room 88 at the hotel her family owns in the central town district with her younger sister, Sharlene Ashtons, her best friends from Kindergarten to Elementary School then High School then to University, Pamphylia Wayne and Josephine Oliver and their other closer friends celebrating her Bachelorette night. They were dancing, drinking and playing games and of course drinking liquor to their heart’s content. The moment the clock stroked twelve on the dot, Sharlene clumsily stood on one of the small tables and clearing her throat and holding onto her full glass of champagne, Sharlene then started on her speech, she said, “First of all on behalf of my elder sister, Summer Ashtons, I would like to thank all our friends present tonight to take time off their busy schedule to attend her Bachelorette Party. On behalf of everyone here, I would like to take this opportunity to wish my sister and my brother-in-law a blessed marriage and hurry up give birth to a niece or nephew to play with! You guys know I would not have any chance to say any speech tomorrow at the wedding! And for everyone after this short speech of mine, let’s continue partying till we all get drunk!” and with the ending of this speech, the crowd cheered and the partying continued. After several rounds of games and liquor as a punishment, Summer had to go to the washroom and got Sharlene to keep her company to the washroom. Summer held onto her younger sister’s hand and they walked out of the private room and down the corridor to the washroom. Along the corridor, Summer, holding onto Sharlene’s hand said: “Shar, tomorrow is the day. I hope that everything goes as planned!” Sharlene then replied her elder sister saying: “Sis, I am so happy for you and I’m glad you found your happiness!” The 2 sisters walked to the washroom and knocked into Josephine who just got out from the washroom, Summer spotted Josephine who was on her way out of the washroom in opposite directions from the sisters, she then called out to Josephine saying, “Jo, are you alrights? It seems that you took quite sometime in the washroom.” Josephine started to massage her head a bit and replied Summer saying: “I’m fine Sum, but I think I had too much to drink just now during the games and its seems that my head is starting to be a little too heavy for me to handle and thus, I preferred to go back to my room to take a rest. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer tonight with you all.” Sharlene thought that Josephine just had too much liquor tonight that’s why she was feeling bad then she replied Josephine saying: “Jo, it’s alrights. If you are not feeling well then you should go to rest instead so that you could be better for the wedding tomorrow.” Summer then added after Sharlene finished, saying: “Text us when you get back to your room. Although it was in the same building, we need to know that you are safe and sound.” Josephine replied them with a smile: “Sure, will do. You guys enjoy the night!” Thus, at the entrance of the washroom, Josephine went a separate way from Sharlene and Summer in opposite directions. What Summer and Sharlene did not see was that Josephine had something up her sleeve and she had sent a text reading, “Room 1805, Can’t wait to see you!” The sisters finished up in the washroom and headed back to the private room 88, and Pamphylia was just about to open the door and in the incoming direction was Summer and Sharlene. Pamphylia, one hand holding onto her mobile and the other hand on the door said: “Oh my gosh, where did you guys go?” Sharlene, who got a fright from the sudden opening of the door to the private room 88 replied: “We headed to the washroom and met Jo on the way. She said she had a bit too much to drink just now and was starting to not feel well and wanted to head back to her room to take a rest.” Pamphylia then signaled for the sisters to enter the room and close the door behind them replied: “Okay, I thought you guys was picked up by some random guys and was about to get the surveillance footage from the Manager!” Summer, who just got back into the private room and with the sentence from Pamphylia, she slapped her hand on her forehead softly saying: “Pam! we didn’t go for that long please! We saw you playing the dice game with Chris before we headed to the washroom!” Pamphylia then trying to sit up still said: “Oh really? (In fact, the dice just started 10 minutes ago and ended just when Summer and Sharlene was on their way back to the private room 88) I thought you guys went for like more than 1 hour!” And the 3 ladies broke into laughter, Sharlene looking at Pamphylia who was starting to lose her balance here and there asked: “Are we all feeling still good and able to continue?” Summer replied: “Yes I am!” Pamphylia added excitedly: “So am I! Sharlene then pulled her sister and best friend back onto the table where they were dancing like crazy and said: “Then what you guys still waiting? Let’s continue partying!” On the other hand, Josephine just got back to her hotel room and have sent a text to the ladies “I’m back in my room. You guys have fun tonight and we will meet for breakfast tomorrow morning. Morning call will be at 8am!” and started to get out of her clothes and went let water run into the bath tub, when her cell rang and she saw a text “I am leaving soon and should be there in less than half an hour! See you baby! Can’t wait to hold you in my arms!” At the private room 88, Summer was about to finish her uncountable glass of champagne and was so high, she was dancing on the table top. Looking at how happy and enjoyable she was, Sharlene and Pamphylia joined her on the table and was dirty dancing all round and the crowd around them was cheering and cheering non-stop. After the music stopped, the 3 ladies were tipsy, high on liquor and tired and decided to retreat back to their rooms to take a rest or there would be 3 pandas dressed in the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses on display tomorrow at the wedding! Summer started to sway on the table top while Pamphylia and Sharlene helped her down the table to the floor shouted out to the rest of her friends who were still the room enjoying the night: “Although I am a little tipsy but still a great thanks everyone who is here tonight attending my party! I have already put the bill on tab under my name so you guys continue to enjoy the night!” “Thanks”, “Byes” and “See you tomorrow at the dinner” were shouted out loud from the remaining friends in the private room and the 3 ladies left the room and walked hand in hand down the corridor to the lift lobby to wait for the lifts to go back to their room to finally rest for the night. Chris, who was Summer’s best friend from University came after the girls and shouted: “Sum! Wait for me!” So the 3 ladies turned back and waited till Chris joined them hand in hand and left the party. Sharlene pressed the lift button and they waited while the lift was arriving at their level. Upon the lift doors opening at their level, they forgot to check if the lift was going down or up and went in and with the doors closing the lift went down instead of going up. So the lift travelled from level 3 where they were to the ground floor and a whole lot of people entered the lift and the doors was about to close when Summer heard;” Wait on!” and she knew immediate who the voice belongs to. She decided to keep quiet and actually not to her surprise, Jeremy Kings (the last person she wanted to see tonight) entered the lift and all her sister and her best friends saw the same sight as her. Softly at the back half of the lift, Sharlene who wanted to call out to her brother-in-law, before any sound could come out from her mouth, Summer cupped her mouth with her hands and signalled for her to keep quiet. Sharlene who was confused by her sister’s actions asked: “Sis, did brother-in-law said that he was coming to look for you tonight?” Summer then softly answered her sister: “Nope, I didn’t get any texts from him tonight though.” Pamphylia looking all excited added: “Maybe he planned to give you a surprise!” Chris looking surprised unlike Sharlene and Pamphylia added with a suspicious look: “But I am quite sure he definitely didn’t press the any buttons on the lift panel just now!” And the lift went to Level 18, the light of the button 18 dimed down and the lift door opened, Jeremy King got out of the lift and proceed to his destination. In order to confirm his thoughts, he grabbed Sharlene who was holding onto Pamphylia out of the lift without thinking. Out of the lift, he signalled for ladies to lower down their volumes and for them to follow him. Summer, who was the last to leave the lift, seeing this sight, sighed and said: “Why not let’s forget it and head back to my bridal suite instead to rest?” But the other three of them have ignored her statement and started to follow Jeremy down the corridors while trying to keep their volumes down. They had the best of luck as there were other people who also exited the lift at Level 18 and Chris, Sharlene and Pamphylia started a game of James Bond and tried to hide at every room entrance to avoid Jeremy finding them. Summer looking helplessly at the current situation decided she had to follow them in case the three of them got into any unnecessary trouble. She quickly took out her cell out of her bag and started to take a video and following the three tipsy yet detectives down the corridor. Deep down, Summer thought to herself: “This silly friends of mine. Why make it so difficult? I already have the necessary evidence on hand. Anyway, as long as her friends had fun they wanted tonight, she is fine with whatever happens next.” And the team stopped her footsteps until Jeremy King stop his footsteps at Room 1805, Summer knew immediately who he came for. She was clear on her mind on who Room 1805 belonged to. He then rang the bell at Room 1805 and the 4 who was hiding in a corner saw that Josephine came to open the door in just her bathe robe and her hands wrapped around Jeremy’s neck and pulled him into her room. Summer then upon closure of the room door of Room 1805 clicked the stop recording button on her cell. With the closure of Josephine room door, all the 3 audiences, Sharlene, Pamphylia and Chris who was crazily mad, wanted to go up to her room but to their surprise, Summer took Pamphylia by her clothings and said to Chris, “Chris, please help me grab Sharlene before you guys start a scene, let’s head back to my bridal suite instead.”
