The Famous Rio

I am now walking outside to meet Toby. He said he'd pick me up to make up for not joining that party, I don't actually get it, In the first place I didn't want to go to that party and now Toby is acting like it's a big deal for me. I am a bit upset, all the things I didn't get to say to Melissa. like the way she dumped me and broke my heart/ the way she cheated on me. if I did go to that party it would've been a mess too wouldn't it? si I guess what toby did was a good thing Thank this mother fucker for that

"Finally dork, what took you so long?" I said while getting inside his car

"Dude I had to get gas okay? and Sabrina wanted one of those glowing wands thing she saw from the store yesterday so I decided to get her one, Come on man you know how much my sister means to me right?" he said staring at me like I'm his mom or something

"What ever anything for your cute sister" I said

*BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ*

"HEEEEYYYY" a notification appears and scared the living s**t out of me

"Ohh heey"

"How are you? Do you have class?" she said

"yeah well me and my friend are on our way now, how about you miss? What's your name again?" I said

"Oh you can call me faith hehe and you are the famous Rio" wow got to hand it to her she is good

"yes that would be me the late for school Rio" I said getting off toby's car

"Toby? Can you wait for me after chem? I have some errands and I don't want to walk" I sadi holding my bag

"Alright Rio but we have to hurry its Sabrina's parent teacher conference I need to pick her up"

"Yeah yeah yeah" I said and walked to the halls of this annoying school, I mean look at these people. Some walk around like they own the place while jocks like they HAVE to date one of the cheerleaders or famous girls or be shamed for it. I'm sick of this

4 Hours Later

Finally chemistry is finally over and done with. I swear I am forgetting something. Oh s**t I have to meet Toby

I ran as fast as I could to the school parking lot just praying he was still waiting. and then my prayers were heard by the almighty, there he was sitting on the hood of his car wearing his varsity jacket and looked kinda pissed too, what are the odds?

"TOBY!" I yelled running towards him

"Rio you prick I said hurry, now I had to ask my dad a favor to pick Sabrina up, and you know how much I hate that!" it was almost like he was yelling

"Dude you could've just left me, I had this!" I yelled back

"Oh what? you're doing that now? go ahead Rio push me away because you made a mistake, just like what you did to Bryce"

"Shut up"

"oh what? a hard pill to swallow huh? I try my best to understand you Rio but you are making this so hard for me" he said tears were just forming and i directly looked at the ground to avoid eye contact, Bryce is another story to tell. but all I can say is I regret everything I did to him

"I'm sorry you had to ask your dad a favor I shouldn't have asked you a favor, I'll take a cab" I said and didn't even wait for a response from him

"Rio? Rio?! RIO?! please come back I'll take you I'm sorry" I heard him yell but I ignored it

I have no idea what is wrong with me, because of all the things that have happened my heart has turned so cold. All I saw was darkness and hate. and I didn't notice how affected my friends are with the decisions I've made. I don't deserve them, all of them, especially Toby.

*Buzz Buzz Buzz*

"Where did you go?"

“hey I’m sorry I forgot to respond I was in chem class earlier” I said

“oh thats cool, how was it?”

“chem was good, the rest of my day is bad”

“why?”

“had a huge fight with one of my best friends earlier and I feel bad for screaming at them” i said walking to the bus stop

“hey anger is okay, thats why sorry’s are invented, to make up with the bad things we’ve said to them”

“its not like me to say sorry faith”

“would you rather lose a friend then lose your ego?” she has a point again

“right” i said hiding my phone because I don’t use my phone on the buss I get sick

“Rio when you get this can you text me when you get home safely? please I am sorry for yelling earlier that was real immature I am so sorry”

Toby left a voicemail for me

I slowly got off the bus and slowly walked towards our home, ah s**t I forgot about the girl again.

Faith

“Hey you still there?” she said

“hey yeah I’m sorry I was on my way home and I took the bus I don’t use my phone I get sick”

“thats alright, you should freshen up and eat Rio”

“yeah I’ll do that in a bit”

“so how are you and your friend?, don’t tell me you’re still mad”

“well I am about to text him now so everything will be okay in a minute now”
