It's Edwards

After that day with Jake we spent alot of time apart. I hardly ever saw him except when he drove his dad to come and watch the game with my dad. Only still would I see him for a glimpse from my window. My dad was growing more and more bitter towards the way I was acting and resorted to the threats of sending me to live with my mom. That usually pulled me from my stooper but only for a while. It had been two months since that moment and I had been sick. I did my best to shrug it off in order to go to school every day but even then it took all the energy I had to just get out of bed. I was dizzy and fatigued every minute of the day. From the moment my feet hit the floor until I went to bed. I had even lost a few pounds because I couldn't keep anything down. As I was heading downstairs a wave of vertigo hit me and I nearly slipped at the bottom step. Luckily I had enough dexterity to catch myself before my face hit the floor. My father witnessed it and came to help me up. "Hey there kiddo watch your step now I don't want to have to visit the emergency room this early into the day." My father chuckled. He took one look at me and practically pushed me back up the stairs. "I can't let you go to school in this condition" I shook my head slowly, trying not to bring back the dizziness. "Dad it's finals week I need to do this. 30" I paused as I began feeling sick again. "30% of my grade is at stake today in all my classes." My father raised his hand and pressed the back of it to my forehead. "Well you don't feel warm, maybe it's the dinner I made last night." Of course he would resort to that. He couldn't cook and because I wouldn't get out of bed he had no choice. He had went on a diet last month and was doing well so he stayed as far away from the diner as possible. "Dinner." I mumbled as I headed towards the door and grabbed my keys to the truck. I drove extra slow today because I kept on seeing doubles. When I pulled into the parking lot the school bell had barely rang. I hurried as fast as I could to my first class. Gym. As I was dressing down I got a head rush, blacked out and fell. The next thing I remember was a light flashing in my eyes. "Miss Swan, can you hear me?" a male voice said. "How many fingers am I holding up?" He asked as I blinked open my eyes. I shielded my eyes from the bright light that shown down upon me. "4 fingers I think." I groaned. I felt something in my arm and looked down. "What is this?" I asked "It's an IV you were several dehydrated and your blood pressure was a little bit high. It's normal now though so there is nothing to worry about." He finished. I heard the doctor walk away and I quickly sat up and pulled the IV from my arm. As fast as I could I ran from the emergency room. The hospital room was the last place I wanted to ever be. All the memories here wrapped around the Cullens. I just wanted to forget. I was about a mile and a half from the school and I needed to get my truck. I had no idea how I was going to get there. I couldn't walk, my dad would possibly cross my path so that was out. The only person I could think of was the last person I wanted to see. Taking a deep breath I pulled out my cell phone from its spot in my pocket and dialed the familiar number. After a few rings it was answered. "This is Jake." The voice spoke. I walked a few steps to my left, keeping my eyes on my feet as they moved. "It's Bella, I need a favor." I said quickly. There was a long pause before he spoke again. "What is it?" "I'm at the hospital and I need a ride back to the school to get my truck." I replied. "Ok." Was all he said before he hung up. It was apparent that he was still a bit sour about our argument and I didn't blame him. I was mad at myself as well. Not just myself but Edward too. I felt my head spin a bit and needed to take a seat. I sat on the edge of the curb. A few minutes later and I heard the sound of his bike. I looked up and there he was waiting on his big black bike. Very slowly I headed over to the bike and climbed on. I did my best to hold on without exactly wrapping my arms tightly around him. I wasn't up for the awkwardness that would bring about. "So why were you in the hospital?" Jake asked as we sped towards the school. "I got sick so yeah. No big deal." Jake stopped right beside the entrance to the school and I got out. "Thanks." I said before I headed inside. I would have to make up all my finals on the makeup day because I missed out on 3 of my classes, 4 if you count gym. There was one left and I didn't exactly have to be there. This was when I had my free hour. I just needed to get my back pack and then I could go home. The moment I got home I went straight upstairs to my room and laid down. In less than a few minutes I was knocked out. "Edward please stay." I called out. I reached out as far as I could but he was beyond me. Everytime I got closer he would slip away. "BELLA!" I heard Edward shout. I opened my eyes only to be in a dark room. It must be dark. "BELLA!" I heard again. This time it wasn't Edward calling my name but my father. I rose slowly to my feet and ran as fast as I could to the bathroom to throw up. Once I was finished I rinsed out my mouth and then headed downstairs to see what my father wanted. As I came into the kitchen I saw him standing there next to the answering machine, his face beet red. What did I do? I mean I couldn't have done anything I was sleeping. Unless he heard about my absence all day at school. "Yes?" I said. Without a word my father pressed the button to the answering machine. "Miss Swan this is Dr. Jackie Havrick from Forks Hospital we have your blood test results back and we wanted to let you know that you tested positive for being pregnant. We suggest you call your physician and make a follow up appointment to make sure everything is good. Have a lovely afternoon." My father pressed the stop button and I looked up at him. "You are pregnant!" He barked, slamming his hand on the counter. I jumped lightly. "They must have gotten the test screwed up." I defended. My father moved to the fridge and pulled out the left overs from last night and shoved it in my face. Almost immediately I felt sick. I moved to the sink and puked my stomach up completely. "Who's the father?" He asked. I turned on the sink to wash my vomit down as I turned to look at him. "It's Edward isn't it?" I quickly shook my head. "No. It's Jakes." I was pregnant and I was carrying Jakes baby.
