The moment I revealed to my dad about who the father of my baby was it was over. My father grabbed my wrist and half dragged me out to his cruiser and we sped off towards his house. My father had never sped once in his life but the way he drove was insane. Several times I thought he might lose control but he never did. In half the normal time it took us to get to the Blacks family home we had arrived. My father didn't even wait for me to get out before he charged up to the door and began pounding on it. Seconds later Jake answered. I watched my father yelling at him and then Billy coming to the door in his wheel chair as well. Billy seemed to be trying to calm things but was unsuccessful. My father gestured for me to come over so I slowly got out of the car and headed over to them. Jake was at a loss for words and all his did was stare at me with his mouth hanging wide open. "Do you plan on keeping the child?" Billy asked me. That thought had never occurred to me. The idea of aborting was forbidden in my eyes. I wasn't that type of person. I made a mistake and now I had to pay the consequences, for the next 18 years. Slowly I nodded my head. "Well I don't approve of the whole aborting method so I have no other choice." Billy and Charlie looked at one another. "I only see one answer to this problem." Billy said. I knew how this was going to end. I would get married to Jacob and we would have the baby. Then we would go about pretending that we were a perfect couple that fell in love and concieved a child on our honeymoon. "This is totally unfair, I'm only 16 I can't be a father." Jake said. "You have some time to get the role down, until then I think it'd be best to pull you out of school." Charlie began. I wasn't even about to whine because it could be worse. He could be sending me to live with my mother in Florida. Then again at this moment it didn't sound too bad of an idea. The moment the kids at school found out I would be the talk of the town. "I want to go live with mom." I said quickly. I didn't really want to leave Forks but at this moment with all that was going on it wasn't likely that Edward would come back. Especially when I was pregnant with the spawn of his enemy. He might as well have not existed. Without Edward I no longer had a reason to be in Forks. My father looked at me like he had been slapped acrossed the face. "Are you sure about this?" he asked me. I looked from Jake to Billy and then back to my father. "I'm positive. I'll go live with mom and Phil, get a job or something until the-" I didn't even want to finish that sentence. In less than 8 months I would be a mother. "How about you wait for a week or two and see how you feel and if you still want to go to Florida I will see about buying you and Jake a plane ticket." My father said. Jake quickly rose his hands in the air. "Woah, I'm not going anywhere, this is my home and will remain my home." I looked at Jake, tears in my eyes. "I don't need you." I whispered to him before I headed to my fathers car. I quickly got in and started the engine before I drove off. I quickly headed back to the house and began packing my things. I grabbed clothes, my hygeine products and my photo albums. Before I left I grabbed my stash of money that I hid in a sock between my mattress. When I got into my truck I just started driving. I had to make a quick decision to whether I wanted to drive to Florida or take a plane. My truck was a gas guzzler meaning it would take about $500 that I knew I didn't have. A simple plane ticket would be about $300, that was cheaper and I'd have money left over. I turned onto the highway and headed to Seattle, I was taking a plane to Florida. It was a smooth ride there traffic wise but not the least bit silent. Every five minutes my phone went off. I was being tag teamed by both my father and Jacob. I didn't feel like talking to them so I ignored it. When I got to the airport I decided against taking anything with me. I pulled my album, money and wallet from it all and then left the rest. I headed to the desk to purchase my ticket and ended up spending almost $400. That left me with about $200 when I landed. Lucky me, I wouldn't have to wait long since my flight was currently boarding. Going through security was simple since it was late into the night and before I knew it I was sitting on a plane heading to Jacksonville Florida. Fatigue took me over and I fell asleep before we had taken off. When I had awaken we were taxiing and it seemed late in the evening about 5 or 6 pm. The moment we were able to get off the plane I did my best to squeeze my way through to the front of the plane. When I got into the airport I headed to find a phone book. Very carefully I scanned through the residency until I found exactly who I was looking for. I ripped the page from the book and headed outside to hale a cab. It took $40 to get to my mothers house. After I paid the cab driver I headed up to the house that was my mother and step fathers. I knocked on the door and waited. When it opened my mother blinked several times before she wrapped her arms around me. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "Is Charlie with you?" she continued as she craned her neck to look past me. I shook my head. "Its just me mom. I've decided to come home." My mother didn't ask any question but let me right in. It was nice that she didn't ask too much, it was soon to come though knowing who my mother was. "Phil and I were just having a late dinner, I hope you are hungry." She said excitedly as she led me towards the back door that led to what looked like a porch. "Phil, look who has come home." my mother said in a sing song voice as we walked outback. Phil looked up from his grill and waved the tongs. "Its nice to have you home Bella." He said as he flipped a few burgers onto a plate and then moved some hot dogs on the grill. "I hope you are hungry." I sat down on a sun chair and my mother sat down beside me. "So what brings you home? Finally get tired of the lack of sunshine? Football games and pizza getting old?" I looked at my mother and shook my head. I knew this time would come but how do I tell my mother that I am pregnant. That the father doesn't want anything to do with me or the child. "Can we talk about this some other time mom, I'm just trying to reclaim some of my sanity that I lost this past 24 hrs." I said tiredly. Phil came over with a plate of hamburger and set it before me. I immeadiately smelled the grease and felt the bile rising. I clasped my hand over my mouth before I jumped up and ran to the grass where I began violently throwing up. My mother joined me at my side and began rubbing my back soothingly. Once I was finished we returned to our seats. After a few minutes of silence my mother gasped. "You are pregnant!" She squeeked. I didn't even know how to respond. "You are! Oh my goodness do I look old enough to be a grandmother." She said quickly. I watched my mother in disbelief as she rose to her feet and walked over to Phil before she began talking animatedly about becoming a grandmother. I rose to my feet as well and headed inside. The moment I closed the door the phone began ringing. I walked over to it and answered it. "Hello?" I spoke. "Renee?" A familiar voice spoke. "No this is Bella, Renee is outside can I take a message?" I asked "Bella, your father is going out of his mind." Of course the voice sounded familiar, it was Jake. "I should go." I replied. "Bella please." Jake begged. "Tell my dad I'm fine." I said before I hung up the phone. I turned and leaned against the counter. Next time I talked to Jake, if I did, I would give him an ultimatum. He had once chance, he was either there from the start or not at all. I didn't want my child going through what I went through with my parents. I wanted to do things right.
