The woods went by in a blur as I continued to run. As Dusk started to settle on the late evening sky the forest came to life with crickets and frogs, Fireflies started to sparkle in the distance. On any normal night I would've of stopped and appreciated the show, but the scent of Cinnamon was starting to clog my brain. I could physically feel the fog that drifted over my mind as it succumbed to the smell. What was it? How could something like this do this to me. I worried for a moment of it being something dangerous but my gut was telling me the opposite. This was something special, a gift the Goddess is blessing me.
There was a small opening in the forest and I was greeted by a cabin. The smell was so intoxicating close I ran and shifted into my human form before slamming open the door. Inside was a little blonde haired boy holding a piece of firewood in his arms. When the door banged open he screamed, dropping the firewood and backed away from me. I walked up to him and grabbed his arm, sniffing deeply, no it wasn't him. But the smell lingered on him as if he was close to what or who it was.
Then as if on cue, the door slammed open behind me and the smell was so overpowering that what happened has never happened once in my life. My wolf took over and turned to the woman behind me.
"Mate." he growled and dropped the boy. Looking at her I was in utter shock by the sheer beauty a woman could posses. Her hair was a shade darker then snow itself, that was elegantly braided down her back, and the lightest blue eyes I had ever seen on a wolf. Plump lips and pale cheeks that were flushed a light shade of pink. A long and thin body with just the right amount of curves in the right places, hidden by the tight white fur suit. But what was most striking of all was the light grey three moon symbol that was placed on her forehead like a permanent crown. She was the epitome of a Luna, from the way she held herself to the way she bared her teeth at me. I turned to her fully and slowly approached her. I needed to touch her, to hold her and make sure she was real. I've been waiting on this day to happen and I couldn't be any more pleased.
She frowned, her eyebrows furrowed making a little crease and she knelt down with her hands held out. I swear I almost jumped into them if the little boy that I completely forgot ran into her arms and she picked him up with ease. I had never been more jealous of a little then what I was right now.
"Does your pack not have enchanted clothing?" she asked and I almost didn't comprehend what she said swooning over the way her voice sounded and the way it made my test tighten. I looked down and realized what she meant. I was naked like all wolves were after shifting, well I guess not at all.
"What the hell is enchanted clothing?" I asked looking at her in confusion. she simply waved at her own fur suit. Then something slowly started to click, something that scared me a little.
Blonde hair, blue eyed, pale wolves. she was a Artic wolf. which also meant that I was mated to one of the most ancient and religious breeds of wolf. She walked closer and the smell of her closeness fogged my brain again and I know longer cared. we'd get through whatever issues that created, but for now all I wanted to do was focus on her. And I couldn't really do that with that little boy sitting on her hip. She leaned down and grabbed a bag, inside she pulled out a grey wool blanket and tossed it at me. It smelled like rogue and I didn't even try and grab it out of disgust. my nose curling at the sour pungent smell.
"Please, cover yourself. If you truly are my Mate then I shouldn't be seeing your naked body until the mating ceremony." I frowned instantly.
"I am your mate." I simply said but complied with her wishes, wrapping the blanket around my waist. She sat the boy down with a kiss on the forehead and looked back up at me and blushed. It was so damn adorable I couldn't help but smile.
"I was about to cook dinner, your welcome to join." she pointed at the pot with the wood burning in it and I frowned.
"I can get you good food to eat. I can get you out of this cabin and somewhere safe. I want.. No I NEED you to come somewhere safe. A couple miles back there's a car with my Beta in it. Please come with me instead." She frowned and she sucked her bottom lip in. I zeroed in on the movement and tried to ignore the fact that it made my d**k twitch underneath the blanket.
"How can I trust you?" she asked and I was almost offended.
"Don't you feel the mate bond? I could never hurt you." she nodded slightly and looked down at the little boy who smiled slightly and she let out a sigh coming to a decision.
"Fine. I'll come but on one condition." I nodded for her to continue. "Don't do anything that breaks my traditions. I've already broken rules seeing you.... as you were." I laughed loud. relieved that she even agreed to come.
"Deal." she nodded and started getting her things ready, putting out the fire, and dressing the boy into a warm jacket. She walked outside and sat the bag down.
"OK Blake, the same as before, and hopefully this will be the last time." He nodded and stood patiently as I watched her shift in front of my eyes. She was a beautiful white wolf, its presence was mesmerizing none the least and I felt my self shift right along side her. what was the craziest thing was that her clothes didn't rip, but instead grew with her as her second skin. I guess I see what she means now by the enchantment. I wonder if they had a witch help with that. She knelt and Blake climbed on her back. I rubbed up against her fur and immediately felt the sparks burst on my skin. She looked at the area i touched for a moment before huffing. I flopped my tongue out and started to run, hearing her following behind me.
Now I just had to explain her to James.
