She sighed and continued walking, not knowing her thoughts had taken her to the middle of the road. Before she could turn, she saw a car rushing towards her at full speed!
She gasped and tried to run but her legs were rooted to the ground, she covered her eyes waiting for the worst.
"Is that not Evie? Stop the car!" Ashton ordered.
The chauffeur hit the brakes and the car creased her clothes but didn't touch her.
When nothing happened, she opened her eyes and saw that the car had stopped, she breathed out in relief and wonder.
Ashton rushed out of the car and took her from the middle of the road to the side where no vehicles were passing, his chauffeur parked the car there too so as not to cause traffic for others.
