The Next Morning
I stormed out of the staff office after being scolded by Mr. Finley.
My fists were clenched, and my expression was cold.
I was furious.
I’ll definitely get that darn whitie.
I walked down the hallway, still replaying Mr. Finley’s words in my head.
Then, as I approached the washroom corridor, I heard voices.
“Hey! Where’s the money we told you to bring?”
I stopp
The girl was trembling, tears streaming down her face.
“I-I’m so sorry,” she pleaded. “But I’ll bring it tomorrow. I promise.”
“How dare you?”
Slap!
The leader struck her across the face.
“I’m so sorry,” the junior student whispered, coughing as she tried to hold back her tears.
“Let’s go.”
They left
A few moments later, I walked past the washroom corridor.
Then I stopped.
A junior student was crouched on the floor, quietly crying as she gathered her belongings.
I walked toward her.
“Hey.”
She looked up nervously.
“What happened?”
“N-Nothing…”
I narrowed my eyes.
“Did you get bullied?”
She hesitated before slowly nodding.
My expression hardened.
“Which direction did the bully go?”
The girl pointed toward the other end of the washroom corridor.
I followed her gesture.
Then I saw him.
Whitie.
He was walking away.
My eyes narrowed.
So it was him.
I walked toward him, my footsteps steady and deliberate.
When I reached him, I grabbed his collar and pulled him back.
“How dare you bully that innocent girl?”
The boy turned around.
His expression was completely confused.
“Which girl? I don't know what you're talking about.”
My eyes narrowed further.
“Don't play innocent with me.”
“I seriously don't know what you're talking about.”
I stared at him coldly.
Then I threw a punch.
He dodged it effortlessly.
I paused.
A small smirk appeared on my lips.
“Oh?”
He took a step back.
“Hey, chill! I don't know what you're saying!”
“I knew you were evil.”
I tilted my head.
“You just pretend to be an angel because of that white hair.”
Before he could respond, I moved.
I planted my hands against the floor and performed a quick cartwheel, using the momentum to launch myself toward him.
My fist shot forward.
He dodged again.
“Senior Psycho!”
I stopped.
A familiar voice came from behind me.
The junior student came running toward us, panting heavily.
She was still holding a brush in one hand.
Her eyes widened when she saw what was happening.
“What are you doing?”
I lowered my fist slightly.
The girl looked at the white-haired boy.
Then her face suddenly changed.
“He isn't the one!”
I froze.
“What?”
She pointed toward the corridor.
“He didn't bully me!”
My eyes widened slightly.
For the first time, I realized I'd made a mistake.
“Then who did?”
The girl swallowed nervously.
Her voice trembled.
“It was…”
She looked toward the corridor.
Then she whispered—
“BEAUTY BEES.”
My expression went completely still.
Beauty Bees.
The infamous female bully squad of the school.
A group feared by almost everyone.
And at the center of them all was their leader—
Lia
The junior student's face suddenly went pale.
“They're here…”
I turned slowly.
Click. Click. Click.
The Beauty Bees appeared at the end of the corridor.
The moment they saw me, they stopped.
Their conversation died instantly.
One of the girls whispered,
“Psycho…”
Another girl grabbed her friend's arm.
“Why is she here?”
I said nothing.
I simply looked at them.
My expression was completely blank.
No anger.
No smile.
Just a cold, unreadable stare.
The junior student immediately moved behind me, hiding herself.
I didn't even look back.
“Stay behind me.”
My voice was quiet.
The girl nodded.
Lia stood at the front of the Beauty Bees.
She tried to maintain her confidence, but even she hesitated before taking another step.
I slowly walked toward them.
Step.
The girls moved back.
Step.
They moved back again.
I stopped.
“Why did you stop?”
Nobody answered.
I looked from one girl to another.
“You were very brave a few minutes ago.”
One of the girls swallowed.
“That was… different.”
I tilted my head.
“How?”
Silence.
Lia finally stepped forward.
“Psycho, we're not looking for trouble.”
I stared at her.
“Then why are you still standing here?”
Lia's expression tightened.
One of the girls whispered,
“Lia, let's just go.”
Lia didn't respond immediately.
She kept her eyes on me.
“You really enjoy making people afraid of you, don't you?”
I gave a faint smile.
“No.”
I took another step forward.
“They're afraid because they know what happens when they cross the line.”
The Beauty Bees went silent.
I stopped directly in front of them.
My voice dropped lower.
“You picked the wrong person to bully.”
The junior student remained safely behind me.
Lia's eyes flickered toward her.
Then back to me.
For once, she didn't have a clever response.
I held her gaze.
“Take your friends and leave.”
Lia hesitated.
Then she looked at the other girls.
“Let's go.”
The Beauty Bees immediately turned around.
As they walked away, one of them whispered,
“I told you we shouldn't have messed with Psycho…”
Another answered,
“She didn't even do anything.”
The first girl glanced back nervously.
“That's what makes her scary.”
Lia heard them.
She didn't say a word.
She simply kept walking.
I watched them disappear around the corner.
Only then did the junior student slowly step out from behind me.
She looked up at me.
“Senior Psycho…”
I turned toward her.
“Hmm?”
“You didn't even raise your voice.”
I looked toward the empty corridor.
A faint, cold smile appeared.
“I didn't have to.”
