PAST SCENE
“Hit her!”
“Stomp hard on her!”
“Smash her head!”
“Step on her hard!”
“She’s a b_tch. I hate her!”
“Me too.”
“I feel like killing her!”
“Please… stop!” the girl begged for mercy as tears streamed down her face.
“Sorry, dude, but no mercy. Continue,” the bully leader ordered.
The two bullies continued tormenting the girl, except for one.
“Why aren’t you joining?” the bully leader asked.
“Nothing. Meet me in the class,” the fourth girl replied before walking away.
“What’s with her?”
“Anyways, continue,” the bully leader ordered.

PSYCHO POV
Hey, my name is Psycho.
Obviously, my real name is Khloe Owen.
You might be wondering, Who was the girl being bullied?
You see… it was me.
I came from a poor family. I lost my dad when I was 15, he fell from a building at a construction site. He died, leaving my mom and me to struggle on our own.
Life was hard for my mom and me.
I used to get bullied, but obviously, I couldn't tell my mom. I didn't want to make things worse for her.
After some years, my mom got a job as a cleaner at my school.
And that made everything worse.
I had to keep it a secret that my mom was the cleaner. If anyone found out, I knew I would be doomed.
Unfortunately…
My secret got exposed.
---
BACK TO THE PAST
“Yo, her mom is the cleaner.”
“Geez, so pathetic. She’s in trouble.”
“Yeah.”
“I pity her.”
“Yeah, me too.”
“How do you know?”
“I overheard.”
“O.M.G.”
---
IN THE WASHROOM
“So, your mom is the cleaner?” the bully leader asked.
“I’m sorry,” Khloe whispered as she trembled.
“Were you trying to keep it a secret?” the second bully asked.
“No,” Khloe replied.
“I hate b_tches like you who shed crocodile tears. You reek of poverty,” the bully leader sneered.
She shoved Khloe, and the girls began bullying her again.
---
BACK TO THE PRESENT
PSYCHO POV
I was screwed.
I couldn't tell my mom, so I tried to persuade her to stop working at my school.
But she refused.
She insisted on continuing to work there, saying she wouldn't quit unless she found another well-paying job.
Can you now see that I was screwed?
The more I suffered, the more I realized that life was unfair at Prestige High School.
Only those who were influential could control things at Prestige High.
Even the school principal's daughter, Ava, had been bullied.
So what made me any different?
I continued enduring the pain.
I kept supporting my mom.
Until I lost someone so precious to me.
My mom.

BACK TO THE PAST
AT THE WASHROOM CORRIDOR
Mrs. Owen was busy mopping the washroom corridor when A girl walked past.
She deliberately stepped onto the wet floor.
“Hey, you!” Mrs. Owen called.
She turned around with an annoyed expression.
“What?”
“Please be careful. The floor is wet,” Mrs. Owen said.
“I don't care,” she replied coldly.
Mrs. Owen sighed.
“Young lady, just watch where you're going.”
She rolled her eyes.
“Do you know who you're talking to?”
Mrs. Owen stared at her.
“I don't care who you are Just don't make things difficult.”
Her expression hardened.
“You really have a big mouth for a cleaner.”
Mrs. Owen frowned.
“That's enough. Please just leave.”
She scoffed and turned to walk away.
But Mrs. Owen noticed the cleaning bucket had been knocked over.
“Wait! You spilled the water.”
“I said I don't care.”
She continued walking.

IN THE WASHROOM
UNKNOWN POV
I was in the washroom, minding my own business and scrolling through my phone when I heard a commotion outside.
Curious, I peeked through the door.
I saw that b_tch and the cleaner arguing.
“O.M.G… Tsk. This is actually funny.”
I quickly turned on my phone camera and started recording
**
Mrs. Owen hurried after her.
“Please stop Someone could slip and get hurt.”
She suddenly turned around.
“Why are you following me?”
“I’m not following you. I'm asking you to be careful.”
She angrily pushed past Mrs. Owen.
Mrs. Owen lost her balance and stumbled backward.
Her head struck the wall before she collapsed.
she froze.
“Ma'am?”
She stared at Mrs. Owen in shock.
“Oh my God…”
She took a step backward.
“I didn't mean to…”
UNKNOWN POV
Then suddenly—
THUD!
I froze.
“What just happened?”
I carefully looked outside again.
---
BACK AT THE CORRIDOR
she stood frozen as she stared at Mrs. Owen.
“Ma'am… please wake up.”
There was no response.
Tears filled her eyes.
“Please…”
She looked around nervously.
Then she heard another sound from the washroom.
“Who is that?”
she rushed toward the washroom and opened the door.
But there was nobody there.
She looked around before quickly running away.
---
LATER
The sound of an ambulance siren echoed through the school grounds.
Mrs. Owen was carried away on a stretcher.
“Mom! Mom, please wake up!”
Khloe wept as she tried to get closer to her mother.
“Don't tell me she died…”
“Please, my mom didn't die!”
“Mom, please wake up!”
The ambulance drove away.
Khloe dropped to her knees and cried as the other students watched sympathetically.
“I pity her.”
“So pathetic.”
“How did she die?”
“We don't know yet.”
---
AT THE POLICE STATION
“I’m sorry, young lady, but we couldn't find enough evidence to prove that your mom was killed,” the detective said.
“We're going to close the case as a suicide.”
“NO!” Khloe cried.
“My mom would never do that! She wasn't that kind of person. Please investigate the case properly!”
“I'm sorry, but there's no evidence to prove otherwise.”
The detective walked away, leaving Khloe in tears.
Khloe turned toward a female detective.
“Will the case really be closed?”
“Actually, I was transferred to this team only two days ago, so I don't know much about the case,” the female detective replied. “But yes, it will be closed.”
“Please help me…”
Khloe's voice trembled.
“My mom was killed. I'm sure of it.”
The female detective looked at her sympathetically.
“The only help I can render to you is to…”
---
AT A PRIVATE PLACE IN THE MEMORIAL PARK
“I want the case closed permanently,” the man said.
“And I want all the evidence destroyed.”
“Okay, sir,” the detective replied.
“Good.”
The man put his hand into his pocket.
“Let's stay on good terms and continue being useful to each other.”
He turned around and walked away, leaving the detective standing
UNKNOWN POV
“So he’s the one behind this entire mess…”
I stared at the evidence in my hands.
“I pity that poor girl… Jeez. There’s no hope for her.”
I lowered my head.
“I give up…”

BACK TO THE PRESENT
PSYCHO POV
After my mom's death, the school arranged a befitting burial for her since she had been one of their workers.
I was given two months away from school to mourn her.
But mourning wasn't the only reason I stayed home.
I wanted answers.
I wanted to know who was responsible for my mother's death.
I searched everywhere.
I questioned people.
I looked for evidence.
But every lead ended in nothing.
Eventually, I felt completely defeated.
My mother was gone.
The only person who had always been there for me was gone.
I felt like I had nothing left.
---
BACK TO THE PAST
It was late at night.
Khloe stood alone on a bridge, staring down at the dark water below.
Tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Khloe… you have nothing left,” she whispered.
She closed her eyes.
Then suddenly—
Someone grabbed her and pulled her away from the edge.
They both stumbled onto the ground.
Khloe stared at the stranger in shock.
“Who are you?”
The boy was wearing a dark hoodie and a face mask.
He looked at her in disbelief.
“Gosh… you can still ask me that after I just saved your life"
The boy stood up and dusted himself off.
“Hey, DUDE… I never told you to save my life in the first place, so why meddle in my private life?” Khloe asked furiously.
“Gosh… you’re so rude. No wonder you’re so determined to give up,” the boy replied.
“Do you want to die?” Khloe asked angrily.
“I should be the one asking you that,” he said with a sigh. “Anyways, it’s fine if you can’t say thank you for saving you. Just make sure you survive. And maybe, if we meet again in the future, make sure you thank me. I hate it when people feel indebted to me.”
The boy turned around and began walking away.
Khloe stood there speechless.
“Ya… Hey! You forgot your earbud!”
She quickly picked it up, but when she looked around, the boy was nowhere to be found.
“Gosh… so arrogant. I have to return this to him.”
Khloe stared at the earbud in her hand. As she turned it over, something caught her attention.
There was a small crest engraved on it.
Khloe frowned.
“What's this?”
She tightened her grip around the earbud.
“Who exactly are you?”
- BACK TO PRESENT -
- PSYCHO POV -
Obviously, to be sincere, that night was unforgettable. It literally changed my life.
Everything that arrogant dude said to me that night touched me deeply. For the first time in a long while, I felt like maybe I really needed to survive—and, just like he said, I had to thank him someday.
So, I decided to change.
I started training at a martial arts studio because I wasn't going to keep taking things easy with everyone at Prestige High School.
I was done being the weak girl everyone could push around.
I became stronger.
Colder.
And eventually...
I turned into a total PSYCHO.
. . . .
[THE REAL DEAL HAS COME]
