Dale shook his head. “LVPD called saying they found a body in the middle of the desert that they think is Dennis Reeves. We won’t know until they compare dental records.” “Dental records, what do you mean?” Dale signed, throwing himself back in his chair. “I mean there wasn’t enough left of the body to identify anyone. It was torn to pieces.” Sounded like a nasty way to go. “You think the loan sharks did it or maybe coyotes?” “The truth is we won’t know anything until after the autopsy. There isn’t enough left of the body to say one way or another. The loan sharks could have killed him and left him in the desert, and the coyotes did the rest.
