Chapter Thirty-One Alexia was exhausted by the time she finished her shift. She barely had a few hours of sleep last night, not that she could regret why, and had almost been late to work. It didn’t matter how much coffee she’d consumed, she just couldn’t seem to wake up. Thankfully, Carrie had been there to keep her focused.
