Brooklynne's POV: He turned and walked out of the kitchen. I chose not to follow. Why is he drinking again? I thought he was giving it up. What happened while he was away for those few days and was it that or was it because of what he did to me on Monday? 'Oh, Mr. Hawkins." I whispered as the tears fell down my cheeks and I covered my face with my hands to muffle my cries. This is too hard. I'm failing him. --- It's Monday and all weekend I did not see Mr. Hawkins. I didn't bother him either. I don't know for sure if he was in his room or not but I decided to just let him be. It's possible he left and I wouldn't have known it. Doesn't really matter I guess.
