SHADOWS AND DREAMS

Life doesn't seem like it being born,you live and laugh with no concern at the beginning, and that was the case for her. With no worries or ideas on the realities of life Eshie went about her days playing , jumping, eating and all but things happened which seemed odd to her, growing up it seemed like a fake memory which was just planted in her head ,but it actually did happen the time when her mother stood with a box, very big at that about to leave the house but dad stopped her told her not to go, but she was tired she said ,I can't keep enduring this and then he raised his hands once more and hit her just like he always did forcing her things out of her hands. Eshie's mom sat down crying and Eshie watched with no idea of what was going on tho she was sad. Life still looked like it was normal things went as they should and then one day Eshie saw something completely different from the pain she felt . In this case she thought it would feel good because it seemed like they were having fun .A man on top a woman and she screamed in a way that Eshie seemed to like . What would you call this ; An ignorant child who doesn't know good from bad or one moved by the devil . Leaving in a house where the kids and parents stayed in the same room that was bound to happen, as such Eshie watched her parents have s*x again and again she would sneak up like being asleep and try to watch because she liked the sound of it . Still being a child Eshie got past the stage of just ignorance and was at the verge of loosing that happy childhood she began with, while continuously watching her parents have s*x she wanted to know what it felt like too . The kids were out to play like they always do and then Eshie decided let's play a game she said; I want you to try putting your little thing in my sister, would you do that she asked ? Ignorant kids who know nothing agreed to this and put it in . Children lost the presence of childhood in themselves because of this but never knew what they had gotten into , more games continued,they kept meeting up to play as usual and always played the game bought by Eshie. During these encounters one day, the little boy who usually did the game with Eshie's sister came out to play once more and was doing the game introduced by Eshie, eventually he stayed too long outside playing and then his mother started searching for him all round remembering that he usually plays with the girls his mother went to that spot and caught the kids playing what they called a game; her son's trouser down, Mina's panties down and he at her back. She screamed out of shock and asked what that was about the kids out of ignorance told her Eshie asked them to play that game she looked at her and asked ; Are you the devil ? because a little child as you can't be the one pushing this children to do this . Eshie was frightened about what she said and scared that her parents would find she wants doing that instead of protecting her sister, She took her son home and they both went home Mina and Eshie, the little child knew nothing of what she did and asked Eshie if what she did was wrong but got no response, Eshie had different thoughts on what just happened, Did I do wrong?, Did I hurt my sister and her friend?, Is she going to tell my parents?,What are they going to think of me?, the day ended as it should. Eshie wondered why her parents didn't speak about it for days nothing happened all the way , that was when she knew her friends mother never said anything to them, she wondered why a lot but kept going. The ignorance of things happening at home between her parents kept going on, the beating,the insult , the good the bad times kept showing. As children as it's said they ignored the bad parts and dwelt on the good, they went to school as usual,came home watched movies, played and kept on going and one day something happened. A news came around that a woman had died across the other street to an ailment and when they checked it was found out that she was the mother to the boy whom Eshie made to play a game with her sister. This brought a lot of distress to a child who wasn't a child as to the cause of her death, she stopped playing and went deep in fear thinking, what if she comes for me because if what I did to her son , what if she comes to take her as a punishment. This went on for a while and Eshie spoke up to her mother one day ; what if she comes for me mummy? Who are you talking about asked the mother...The mother to the friend.... M-why would you think that Eshie you haven't done anything wrong to her ,you are just a child so don't worry about that .. E- She might drag me with her mom, she called me the devil ... M- What are you saying Eshie, stop say such comments, you are just a child she said again.. Eshie didn't say anything about it again but if only her mother knew , I'm just a child she told herself. More deaths started happening around and this scared everyone around not just Eshie, but it showed on her the most. With all these recent happenings they moved out of their apartment, the whole family to a new place for a new start free from all the evil happening around. With this Eshie sought to grow up right and make amends for the evil she had done and protect her sister. But a different life lay ahead with a different turn and different placement, Eshie was growing up gradually, Would she get worse than she was? Was she just being an ignorant child or truly the devil?
