Most of the time, people tend to do foolish things, but the thing is, they never know when they are about to do something foolish.
In fact, most times they feel they are about to do something sensible, the greatest thing of all time. I know that feeling a lot, the feeling of watching someone walk into the trap of foolishness and making gross mistakes, not because I have made a big mistake I never make mistakes—but because I make the plan. I plan and watch as they walk into the trap I set for them.
That is the same strategy I used for Lexie. I alone delivered the box to them, blackmailed the gateman by showing him a good picture of his family being tortured almost to the point of death, and the poor man had no choice but to betray the boss he loved so much and do as I say.
