Derek POV
I watched as Lexie climbed the stairs her slippers making sound as she carried the box upstairs. I just knew something was wrong, she was going to do something drastic, something that would put us into pressure maybe even alert them that their plans failed and the last thing i need is for our enemies to know that they did not succeed. Their anger towards us will increase and it would make Lexie the main target once again.
I heaved a sigh before running toward the room. I tried opening the door but it was locked from the inside. Something fell on the floor from the room, his species shattering around the room and then another fell again and then another sound came again.
My heartbeat increased “Lexie! Open the door!” I shouted,hitting my fist on the door.
