Lexie POV
Pain starts in a small portion of my skull and quickly spreads around, intensifying at every minute. I try to open my eyelids but the pain weighs it down.
What is happening? Why can't I move my body? Am I dead? So many thoughts run through my mind at this point.
Slowly, and steadily I open my eyes only to meet a nurse staring at me with a smile.
“You are awake,” she says with a warm smile.
I was awake some hours ago. When did I go unconscious again? Every memory rushes into my head. From my conversion with Derek to the nurse who came and stabbed me.
