CHAPTER 4 HEAVEN WHITE

The day comes, Saturday morning I woke up late. I told my mom yesterday night that Liza’s invited us to go to her house, it’s because she will throw a huge party, at first; she wouldn’t want me to go to the party, but I think after she realizes that this party was once in my lifetime, so, she decided to let me go. I got up, fixed my bed and went outside to see my mother.

I saw my mom standing outside the door and looking at the children playing outside. I walked over to her and asked if she was mad at me for the party I was going to. She said, she allowed me because it only happened to me once so I should enjoy being a teenager. She looked at me in the eye and smiled. “As long as you promise me to be careful there, I don't want anything bad to happen to you. I love you Heaven.” I cried a little because I really feel how much she loves me.

I went to the kitchen to eat the breakfast that mama made for me. I consumed it immediately. I headed back to my room to find a nice dress that I could wear, when I opened the closet, almost all the clothes were old. I sat on the bed and thought about what I could do. Mama suddenly knocked on the door and entered with a red dress. “Is it good? I bought it on your birthday; I just forgot you have it.” I took the dress and put it on. It’s so nice.

I think they are going to love my dress and mom also bought me a pair of flat doll shoe’s color black, this is so much I said to my mom. She said that every girl deserved to wear a beautiful dress and shoes. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I looked up to see what time is it, it’s because the party is going to start at 1800h so I need to practice my walk and how to put a simple make up. Yes, I have make ups, but I only use it when there is a special occasions.

It’s lunch time and my mother called me to eat. After eating, I finished all the dishes in the kitchen. I went back to my bedroom and lay down to rest. I looked at the clock and it’s already 1400h. I'll just wake up at 1700h later. It's good for me to rest so I don't look like a zombie later at the party. This is still the very first party I was invited to, excited and pretty nervous. What kind of party is this? I cannot wait!

1700h when I woke up. I got up immediately and went to the shower to take a bath. After that I went back to the bedroom to fix myself. I also put on makeup. I went to the kitchen to see my mother, and there she was preparing dinner. She made me sit on the chair first to eat a little before leaving. I also told my mother that I might be home late. She just told me to be careful. I took the invitation letter from my little bag and looked at Liza's address.

I walked to the bus stop because her house was a bit far. I got on and I got to Liza's house. I saw the party light and heard the loud music. I walked to the gate and showed the security guard my invitation letter. When I entered I heard someone calling my name. Sky, he’s here. He approached me and greeted me. “Wow! What a lovely dress wearing by a beautiful woman.” He said.

My cheeks got hot and red from what he said. He took my hand and placed it on his arm. "Not a date, just a friend." I don't know why he always tells me that. He thought that I was going to fall for him, crazy. The two of us entered the Liza's house and she saw me with Sky. She even kissed me on my cheek and greeted me; she also praised me for saying that my clothes are beautiful.

I thanked her. Maybe she wants to be friends with me after what she did to me at school. I forgive her so there is nothing to worry about. She just told us to enjoy a party and feel at home. She also offered me a swimsuit that I could use for swimming in the pool. The size of the house is huge, too many famous school students. Sky and I talked about sports we both laughed because of the paths we took before becoming a player.

We sat outside in front of the pool while drinking wine. I do not drink so my head hurts quickly. I leaned on Sky's shoulder and he touched my head. Liza went to the chair to talk where I and Sky are talking. She saw my face turn into red it’s because of the alcohol. “Are you okay Heaven? Maybe you want to go to our guess room to rest.” She said to me.

I can no longer refuse because I have a headache. “Is it okay?” I asked her. She just smiled at me and helped me stand up, and Sky helped too. They walked me to the guess room and laid me on the bed. The last thing I heard before falling to sleep was Liza's voice. “Sky? Let her rest and let's talk outside shall we?” And I closed my eyes.

I woke up when someone’s laughing beside my bed. There is no light, that’s why I cannot see who are in the room with me. Then I saw a light flashing at me, it’s like a flash from the camera or cell phone. I’m a bit dizzy I cannot stand up to turn the switch on. They are still laughing and I do not know what they laugh all about.

“Sky? Where are you?” The only thing that I said, I smelled a smoke then I fall asleep again. I do not know what happen next.

I opened my eyes and its kind a blur; I rub my face for me to able to see clearly. “Oh my gosh, it’s morning.” I whispered. I am still inside the guess room. I looked around to check who’s with me. I remembered what happened yesterday night. They are a people who are laughing. I do not know what it is all about. The important is nothing bad happen to me.

I got up and went outside the guess room. I saw the clock and its 0600h in the morning; I saw a bunch of people who are sleeping on the floor while holding their drinks. “What did I miss?” I said. Nobody is awake aside from me. I really need to go home; my mother is worried about me. I notice that the door next to guess room is quite open. “Where is Sky anyway?” I said to myself while sneaking in the door.

I take a look whose inside, and then, I saw Sky, with Liza. I was not surprised when he with her. Who wouldn’t want to be with her anyway, she had it all. Well, I need to hurry. I went outside the house and go to the nearest bus stop and go home.

Now I am home and I saw my mother is standing outside the door. I ran to her and saw her face was worried and at the same time she is mad. “I’ve been waiting for you the whole night!” She shouted at me. “I told you mom I am in Liza’s house, I feel sleepy and the I fell asleep in her house, nothing to become worried mom I am home now and nothing’s bad happen to me.” I reasoned.

“I agreed that you will go to the party and be home at night even though it’s late! You never tell me that you are going to sleep over.” Her tone of her voice is shaking. I felt guilt, it was my mistake, and I am not responsible for what I say and in my actions. “I’m sorry mother, this is the last time, it won’t happen again.” Damn! What did I do? I hurt my mother’s feelings.

“Go to your room, take a shower, remove your makeup, change your clothes and go to the kitchen have your breakfast. I love you.” She sounds very angry but sweet. I do what she says. I went to the bathroom and take a shower. I looked at the mirror and I notice that there is a red circle at my lower neck between my chest.

I tried to remove it because it’s just a makeup maybe. I rub my neck softly, but it won’t remove. “What is this?” I asked myself. I rub it hardly and it’s just turning into red. “Oh no!” What just happened yesterday night at the party? I remembered, they are people who laughed inside the bedroom and I smelled smoke.

Did someone who kissed me while sleeping and gave a hickey? “Oh God. What just happened?”
