That night Jack struggled to sleep thinking about Alanna. He remembers how she took care of him. How tender she was and how she knew exactly what he needed. He questioned his actions. He couldn’t understand what drove him to go to Alanna that day. He was a mess and the person he chose to share his darkest moment was her. They had become close, but he had no idea she meant so much to him. The fact that she didn’t question anything, baffled him. She just took care of him. She helped him without hesitation. Jack wasn’t surprised that he kissed her. He wanted to do it every day he saw her. He thought that she would never want to be with him, but the way she left everything to be with him when he needed her the most made him think that that wasn’t true. He told himself that she must have some kind of feeling for him. His hope of being with Alanna was restored, and he couldn’t wait to see her again. He can’t believe he left her without saying anything after kissing her last time. He spends the night thinking of a way to fix the stupid thing he did.

The next day, Alanna goes to work like any other day but hoping that she doesn't see Jack. She wasn’t ready to see him after he ran away the night before, leaving her confused and embarrassed. The day goes by like any other day. At noon, Homeless Bob knocks at the door and she opens with his food in hand. To her surprise, it was Jack. "Jack" she exclaimed, surprised. Alanna welcomes his kiss, wrapping her arms around him. Then he let go of her head and told her, "I couldn't stop thinking about kissing you again. I have been trying to respect your grief and I understand that you will never be able to love me, but I can't control myself anymore. I need you.” Alanna stopped him from talking any more by grabbing him and kissing him passionately.

Jack picked her up by her waist and sat her on top of the desk. She spread her legs and he introduced himself between them. Then he slides his hands up her tights, pushing her skirt up. Homeless Bob tries to pick in looking for Alanna, but Jack closes the door in his face. Then Jack rushes back to Alanna. Alanna froze. She could not digest what she had just heard. Alanna let go of jack, petrified. The fear in her eyes upset Jack. He picks his shirt from the floor and puts it on. Then he puts his hands on the desk around Alanna, imprisoning her between his muscular arms. He looks straight at her eyes and declares, "I’m in love with you and I’m not going to hide it anymore." Alanna looked at him with her eyes wide open. She didn’t know how to react. She enjoyed his company and loved being intimate with him, but she wasn’t ready to think about how she felt.

Jack kissed her forehead and told her, “I know you are not ready for a relationship, but I want to be with you.” Alanna moved his hand and walked away from him. Jack placed his hand back on the desk and put his head down. He sighted, and with his eyes closed he said, “Do you have any kind of feeling for me?”

Alanna walked to him, grabbed his arms, and pulled him towards her. Jack opened his eyes to find Alanna's eyes filled with tears. Alanna caressed his face and kissed him gently. Then she said to him, looking into his eyes, “You are amazing. I haven’t felt the way I feel for you in a long time. From the first time we met, I felt a special connection with you.” Jack wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. Alanna then told him, “I don’t know if I’m ready to call it love, but you mean so much to me.” Jack smiled and kissed her again. Jack’s police radio made a sound and then a call came in. He needed to leave. Jack kisses Alanna and leaves in a hurry.

Alanna stood in front of her desk. She looked at her computer and saw her late husband’s face. “You were right,” she said, smiling. As her husband asked her on his dying bed, she found love again. Alanna smiled at her husband’s picture and went to open the door. She walked back to her desk and sat on her chair. She blushes remembering what just happened and she giggles when she remembers that Jack took her panties.

That night, Jack was doing the laundry and found Alanna’s panties in his pants pocket. He had a flashback of the passionate time he had with Alanna at her office. Jack told her that he met her some time ago and had just found her again. Jackie laughed and asked if it was the hooker her aunt told her about. Jack became upset and walked away. Jackie apologized and asked him to tell her more about the woman that had him sniffing panties, but he ignored her.

The next day, Jack arrived at Alanna’s house early with breakfast. He stops on the way to the gym at work. He knocks on the door. Alanna took a long time to answer the door. Then Alanna worked on her legs while Jack worked on his back. Sweat glistered on his back. Alanna stopped exercising to watch Jack lift. His muscles pooped out when he lifted the weights. His bottom contracted and his stomach went in. His belly had become smaller since they met for the first time. His abbs are more defined and his love handles had gotten smaller. She knew that he had been healthier, but she didn’t expect him to look so good that fast. Jack cashes her staring and smiles.

Alanna walked to him. She helps him put the weights on the floor and caresses his arms from the hand to the shoulders. Jack pulled her sweaty body against his and took her ponytail off. “What should we do then?” Jack asked. Alanna giggle. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Jack grabbed her tights and pulled her up to his waist. She wrapped her legs around his waist and kissed him. Their sweaty bodies made them slippery, so Jack struggled to keep Alanna on him. They hold tighter and Alanna presses her tights against Jack while he caves his fingers into Alanna’s bottom for a better grip. Their breathing became agitated and they made their way to the floor. They ripped each other’s clothes and made love on the floor. They took a shower together. He washed her, and she washed him. Then they dressed up for work, ate breakfast and left for work.

Jackie arrives at work early and finds her friend Linda murmuring with Carol. When Jackie walked closer, Carol became quiet and went back to work. Linda grabbed Jackie’s arm and took her to the cafeteria. They were both early, so they had time for a little gossip. Linda looked around before she began to tell Jackie what Carol had just told her.

Linda told her that Carol was just telling her about how Alanna was having s*x in her office the day before. Jackie covered her mouth and gasped, “Are you serious?” Linda then told her, that Carol told her, that she could hear them moaning from her desk. Jackie smiled. Linda then told Jackie how Carol never thought the rumors were real until she heard Alanna actually entertaining a man in her office in the middle of the day.

Linda grabs Jackie’s arm and brings her closer and whispers to her, “we think it was your dad.” Jackie pulls away and crosses her arms. “My dad will never step that low, he is a respected man”, Jackie replied angrily. Linda tried to calm her down, telling her that no one really knew who the guy was because nobody saw him go in or out of Alanna's office. Jackie then said, “so how do you know she had a man in there?” Linda smiled and explained that Carol could clearly hear a man’s voice. She said that they talked in a low voice so she couldn’t hear what they were saying, but she could clearly hear his moans and when she went to Alanna’s office afterward she noticed that the desk was moved and Alanna’s shirt was wrinkled.

Linda and Jackie heard Carol say “good morning Alanna”. Jackie frowned and started to walk out of the cafeteria. Linda grabbed her hand and asked her, “what are you doing?” Jackie looked at Linda angry and replied, “I’m going to ask Alanna if she is sleeping with my dad.” Linda stopped Jackie and asked her to reconsider. They were not sure that her dad was the man in her office, and she didn’t want to ruin the relationship they had with Alanna based on suspicion. Jackie agreed and they went to work.

Jack continued to go to Alanna’s house every morning. They worked out together and then got ready for work. Jack began going to Alanna’s house at night too. Jackie noticed that her dad was coming home late, and she asked him what was going on. He told her that he was working late. Then one day, Linda told Jackie that she thought she had seen Jack in Alanna’s office right before Alanna locked the door and heavy breathing was heard. Linda told Jackie that she walked by Alanna’s door and was able to hear some moaning and then Alanna came out without her earrings.

That night Jackie waited for her dad to confront him and find out if he was the man in Alanna’s office. Jackie waited hours for jack to come home. She called him to ask him where he was, but he didn’t answer. Jackie decided to go and see if her suspicions were true. Jackie got in her car and drove to Alanna’s house. There she saw her dad’s car parked outside Alanna’s house. Jackie parked close to her dad’s car. She was about to go out and make a scene, but suddenly Alanna’s house's front door opened. Jack went out and Alanna followed behind. He stopped and grabbed Alanna. Jack kisses Alanna passionately. Then he grabbed Alanna’s bottom and picked her up. Alanna slides down his body laughing. Jackie was surprised to see her dad like that. She didn’t remember him being so passionate about her mother. Jack grabbed Alanna by her hand and pulled her back inside. The door closed and the lights turned off on the first floor. Then the light on the second floor turned on. Jackie receives a text from her dad that says, “Sorry I missed your call sweetheart. I’m working late tonight.”

Jackie couldn’t believe it. Jack had never lied to her before. She was certain that Alanna was to blame for her dad’s sudden drastic change. Jackie was furious. She didn’t understand how her dad had fallen for such a woman. Everyone knew about her reputation. She understood that her dad had needs, but she didn't understand why he needed to fulfill his needs with the man-eater. Jackie was descusted to imagine what she had her dad do. Jackie decided to confront Alanna at work the next day. She didn’t want to embarrass her dad.
