In the bathroom, Matthew felt uneasy after Jack locked the door. He wonders what Jack wanted from him. Matthew thought Jack was trying to rob him, so he took his wallet out, grabbed five hundred dollars, and handed it to Jack. Jack became angry at his pretentious assumption, so he slapped Matthew’s money away. Then Jack pushed Matthew against the wall. Matthew frowned, pushed him back, and asked, “What do you want?” Jack grabbed Matthew’s shirt and pinned him against the wall. Matthew’s eyes widened. Then Jack demanded, “I want Alanna. You need to leave.” Matthew smirked and answered, “Sorry that's not happening.” Jack became furious. His face changed and that is when Matthew realized where he recognized him from. The video of Jack beating Smith. Matthew didn’t want to fight Jack. He is against violence. Matthew could see that Jack was out of control, so he agreed to leave. He felt bad leaving Alanna like that, but he knew that she could take care of herself.

Jack lets Matthew leave first, then Jack walks to the bar, watching Matthew closely. Jack grabbed his drink that was still where he left it. Then he walked towards Alanna. Once Matthew was out of sight, Jack approached Alanna. Jack asked Alanna, "Is this chair taken?" holding the chair where Matthew was sitting before. Then, with a big smile, he introduced himself as John.

Alanna was shocked. Seeing Jack at the place they met brought back so many good memories. She became overwhelmed with emotions. Jack slides a paper in front of her and tells her. I think you should read this. Alanna grabbed the paper confused and read the bold letter on the top of the paper. It was a divorce certificate. Alanna immediately scanned the certificate and saw that Jack was finally divorced. Alanna looked up at Jack with tears running down her face. Jack grabbed her by her shoulders and pulled her up. Jack kissed her passionately. Alanna hugged him and whispered in his ear, “Hi, I’m Paulina.”

Jack grabbed her hand and rushed with her to the elevator. Once inside the elevator, they kiss passionately. Jack held Alanna tight and Alanna let him do as he pleases with her. Alanna realized that they were on the same floor as the one she had in her room, the day they met. To Alanna’s surprise, Jack had picked the same room. Inside the room, Alanna stood still looking at Jack. She looked at his eyes, his lips, and couldn’t believe how much she missed them. Jack stood still, staring at Alanna. She took her time looking at his eyes, trying to let it all sink in. She moved her hand to the buttons of his shirt and began to unbutton them slowly. Jack stared at her nervously. Alanna stopped unbuttoning his buttons before the part that was tucked in. Then Alanna slides her hands inside his shirt and places them on his chest. She caresses his chest. Jack closed his eyes. He had been waiting so long to feel her hands on his body. He licks his lips, savoring the moment. As always, Alanna couldn’t resist his lips. She moved closer and pulled the rest of his shirt out of his pants. Alanna kissed Jack passionately and continued to unbutton his shirt. Alanna takes Jack's shirt off and kisses his neck. Jack undoes his belt and opens his pants. He lets his pants fall on the floor. His gun fell with the pants, but he didn’t care. He slides his jacket and shirt off to the floor. Alanna wraps her arms around him, caressing his back. Jack breathed heavily and he grabbed on to Alanna’s dress. He slides Alanna’s dress and grabs her in his arms. They kiss but then Alanna stops and steps back.

Alanna remembers about his shot and looks at Jack's leg. She looks for the place where he was shot. Jack has a four-inch scar. Alanna stares at the scar. She gets a nod in her chest remembering that day. Jack notices her looking at the scar and he covers it with his hand. Alanna caressed the scar and tears ran down her eyes. Jack looked away embarrassed. Alanna pulls his face towards her and kisses him. She remembers that she almost lost him, but thankfully he is okay and she gets to have him in her arms again. Alanna embarrasses Jack tightly. Jack gets close to her ear and tells her, "I never got the chance to say thank you."

Alanna kisses Jack's shoulder, then his chest. Jack moaned and pulled her closer. He undoes her bra and slides it off. Then Alanna caressed Jack’s hair and said, “I missed you.” Jack kissed her chest and asked Alanna, “please, don’t leave me again. I can live without you.” Alanna grabbed his hand and kissed it. Jack moves off from her and sits at the end of the bed with a sad face.

Alanna moved behind him. She kneeled behind him and hugged him from behind. Alanna asked Jack, “What’s wrong?” Jack placed his hand on her arms that were wrapped around him and said, “Do you still love me?” Alanna kissed his back and said, “Jack…I’m crazy in love with you. You are like a drug to me. I need you.” Jack grabbed Alanna and pulled her around. He wrapped his arms around her back and Alanna wrapped her arms around his neck. Alanna kissed Jack and then she stared at his eyes.

Then Alanna asked Jack, “Why did you go back to Susan?” Jack held Alanna tighter and explained everything. Alanna listened quietly. Jack finished explaining to Alanna how he acted as if everything was great with Susan while he built a case against her. Alanna took a deep breath, kissed Jack. She thought about how she was convinced that Jack didn't care about her and had moved on, but he never stopped loving her. They kissed and Jack became excited. Alanna let him back inside and they sit there holding on to each other, kissing and barely moving. Their breathing became heavy and loud. They moan and kiss. He placed his face next to her ear, avoiding looking at her face when he asked, “ Do you have feelings for him?” Alanna didn’t say anything. Jack pushed Alanna from him and stood up. He turned away, avoiding looking at Alanna’s face.

The room became quiet. They were able to hear each other's breath. Alanna broke the silence with a sigh. Then she said, “My love, I do have some feelings for Matthew, but they are not as strong as what I feel for you.” Jack made fists and grunted and mumbled, “Glad I got rid of him.” Alanna was walking to Jack to hug him and heard him say that he got rid of Matthew.

Alanna turned him around to face her and asked, “Jack, what did you do to Matthew?” Jack stretched his arms to hug her, but Alanna pushed his arms away. Alanna moved back and stared at Jack frightened. “Jack, what did you do?” she demanded with a broken voice. Jack put his head down and replied, “I confronted him in the restaurant’s bathroom and made him leave.” Alanna frowned and exclaimed, “Jack! What is wrong with you?” Jack rushed to Alanna, wrapped his arms around her and explained, “I love you.” Alanna broke out of his embrace and began to pick up her stuff. She dresses up in a rush while talking in descust, “First you dated me while you were still married, then you went back with your wife, and now you decide you want me back so you come and disrupt my life again. You broke my heart. I tried to move on. Finally, I found someone that loves me. He is kind and respectful. Why did you come looking for me if I was okay without you?”

Jack stood in front of the door blocking it, to keep Alanna from leaving. He looked at Alanna with tears in his eyes and pleaded, “Please, my love, don’t leave me again. I’m sorry. I saw him kiss you and I lost it.” Alanna looked at him disapprovingly. Jack kneeled in front of her and hugged her waist, “I love you.” Alanna caressed his hair and tears ran down her eyes. Jack stood up and kissed her. Alanna kissed him back and embraced him. Then Alanna tells him, “I don’t think we are good for each other. I love you too, but maybe love is not enough.” She kissed him, then she steps around him and walks out the door.
