It was like any other day when I woke up, brushing my teeth, showering, then getting dressed. The reality hit me as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. It was my wedding day! I looked at the time and I was running so behind I had slept in! I run down the stairs and get met with my mom running frantically around the house. She’s always so over dramatic with everything she does, now imagine her helping me plan my wedding and I’m running behind! “Layla hunny you could have at least been on time for today it is your wedding day!” Said my mom. “Mom Lucas knows I’m always late. Why would today be any different?” I said laughing. She never appreciated my care free nature when it came to important things! And then the tornado herself came into view Lori my sister, if you think I’m not put together you should look at her life! Lori engulfed me in a hug saying, “ I’m so excited for today sis I can’t wait to see you and Lucas create a beautiful life together and let you wonderful sister move in after the wedding so she can be a stay at home bum!” We laughed together and got the ball rolling for the rest of the day! My two little sisters would stand next to me today as I made a step into this new life I was about to have! We were getting ready at the venue when we got red alerts on our phones that something big was happening! We turned on the news and saw aliens straight out of a movie coming close to earth. Suddenly my wedding wasn’t so important and all needed was Lucas! I ran out of the room! I got this feeling all I needed was to be next to him when this happened! But what was happening? No one knew! So why did I have this feeling? I hesitated and little did I know that would cost me! I get to the door yelling for him and I hear him searching for me, yelling for me! And then everything freezes. Quite literally frozen I can’t move. I can only see the doors I was about to open in front me and hear this ringing sound. And that’s when I saw it! It stalked close to me crawling on the wall and then the ceiling out of the corner of my eye! It had one eye with a pale blue complexion. It was suddenly out of sight and I heard a sickening drop behind me! It is standing behind me. It moves its hands around my waist and it makes a clinking noise and suddenly says,” no no no this won’t do her majesty can’t be like this none of them can!” It moves in front me and I’m face to face with this creature. He suddenly morphs into a human and asks “ is this not as scary? Or is transforming more scary?” It waits for an answer but I simply am too stunned to speak! It looks upset and snaps its fingers and we fly or more of dissolve into the sky. I realize I can now move because once I’m wherever we went I landed hard on the floor. Groaning, I stand to my feet and am face to face with this thing. He asks me “ can you speak now your majesty?” I look at it confused and say “ yes? “ his face lights up “ oh great!! I’m so pleased now, follow me! “ He gestured for me to walk behind him but I refused! “ Why on earth should I follow you to who knows where, whatever you are!” He simply reply’s “ well we aren’t on earth so that remark doesn’t apply! So follow me and I’ll answer all your questions! “ I started to move behind him if that was even the proper terminology. We went through a series of doors that just opened by themselves and it suddenly hit me. “ WAIT I’m not on earth, then where the hell am I? And who are you? “ He turned around and replied “ I am Joffrey and will be your assistant! Once we take care of all of this and earth! “ he literally gestures to all of me! And what about earth!? I proceeded with my questions trying to figure out this Joffrey character! “ Well what’s happening to earth? “ “ it’s time for its morphing, it happens every 100,000 years it just so happens to be in the middle of a life cycle this time so it’s more complicated!” I stared at this thing stunned, what the actual flying F is that supposed to mean? He stops in the last room and finally I can rest, my chubby legs are killing me, all this wedding stress made me gain so much more weight! Ugh Lucas where are you? I need you right now! “ Where is Lucas and why am I here!” “Well your majesty “ Joffrey reply’s “ it seems you are one of the chosen! In normal circumstances I’m told you would have been raised in this new world from birth just like everyone else but we have to do it in the middle of the life cycle and change everyone at once, but you are important!” I just stared at him like what am I supposed to say? Oh ya that makes total sense Joffrey thanks for clearing it up for me man! As if reading my mind, “ I can tell you are confused! So let me sum it up! My kind The Jonjorned helped life move its course after natural disasters and one was supposed to hit your planet today but our charting courses were faulty and it turns out it will never happen to your planet ever again! Congratulations your majesty! Now you still have to start a new life cycle as planned but it will be strange and it affects everyone by continent! Yours happens to the wolf and lycan continent!” I stopped him there “ Okay I know you’ve lost it how the heck is that even real! Werewolves are certainly things of myth and legend! “ I dismissed! “ you do realize your majesty, I am an Alien that materialized you to outer space and you think a werewolf is a myth!” And I definitely didn’t have any words because Joffrey was right! “ well I guess you have a point Joffrey but why should I trust you?” My question was apparently pretty offensive as his face started to morph and shift into a very angry looking half alien half human! “ Well you are a very ungrateful majesty! Your majesty, I am told to serve you and not betray you, that is my job and will be my job until you die or I die!” He seemed to have calmed down slightly after getting that off his chest. “ I am sorry to have offended you Joffrey but who gave you this job if I might ask?” He looked almost afraid but then masked it with this reply “ the Supremas ordered that they oversee all life forms! And we are their people and they tell us who to serve to the end of our days!” I wanted more answers but Joffrey simply turned around and started going to work on some see through IPad looking thing! I was going to ask what it was but a large commotion took my attention elsewhere! I looked over and a large door opened and my whole family was there! Lori ran to me and hugged me as tight as she could and my parents just stood there staring at me like I was some creature. Then Lori stepped back and gave me a horrified look and I asked what was wrong but I looked at my hands and they were glowing! My whole body was! I turned to Joffrey! “ What is happening to me, Joffrey!” He turned to me and said “ congratulations on your new life cycle all of you, I will meet you on earth after I complete mine!” With a snap, me and my family were glowing except I was blue and my family green! We then materialized back into our home! At least I think that was what it was called! As soon as we landed back our home began to shift into this large mansion and I suddenly could feel everything around me but heightened! I could smell the nearby forest and the pond out back! I could hear the birds and the prey prancing in the forest. Prey? Why did I say that? Then Joffrey materialized and he is buff and I mean huge! And he looks like he’s made for a magazine cover! “ You don’t look half bad yourself, you majesty!” I looked at him confused and he said, “ I’m in your pack. We can speak to each other through a mind link, you just need to control it better!” I just nodded trying to wrap my head around all of this! I thought back to our earlier conversation and realized what I was now! My family came into view and they all looked like models now! What happened to my plump little family! Lori then said “ Layla look how HOT you look now I can’t believe this is happening to us!” Joffrey looked at all of us and said, “ Layla is the pack leader. Technically your parents should have been before you but it hit in the middle of the life cycle so it is a little confusing! Going forward you must meet your mate and come into your destiny! I cannot give you more details as I might affect the future by saying too much but I am here to guide you Luna Layla!” “ What about Lucas? Why isn’t he here? He is part of my family too!” Joffrey gives me a sad face and says “ he is the alpha of his own pack and needs his fated mate the same as you! Did that information come in as you completed the new life cycle requirement?” I nodded my head thinking how sad it’s going to be if Lucas isn’t my mate. I really wanted him! Speaking of mates and my new wolf powers, where is my wolf? I asked Joffrey and he said that she would come in soon. It would just take a few days but the members of my pack would get them after me but my parents should have them already since they are older! They would be acting in charge until then as they had the alpha aura so it made everyone listen! Weeks go by of my new life and I can’t help but try and talk to Lucas! I’ve tried to call him so many times! He texted me to stop calling him but I just could not! I was going to marry that man. How can that change between us just because this happened! I don’t care about this mate business . I wanted it to be him! I texted him back and said expect me to be there in an hour because I’m coming to see you! He then calls and I pick up so fast! “ Layla I don’t know how to tell you this other than to come right out and say it!” He paused so I went to tell him I didn’t care about him or me being alpha. We could do it together but he wouldn’t let me get a word out! “ I’m waiting for my fated mate, my wolf John will not let me be with another female let alone someone who is wolf less, I hope she comes soon! We can meet then but not a moment sooner as I am busy with alpha duties!" That’s when I hear the giggling of multiple girls and moaning. I froze and when I didn’t say anything he hung up. My blood started to boil and I couldn’t control my anger. I started ripping all the pictures of us off the walls in my new home! I smashed the bases and grabbed onto the wooden railing and suddenly I pulled it off of the stairs. My family watched me in disbelief and Joffrey just smiled! Then my whole body started to hurt and Joffrey picked me up and rushed me outside and they watched me helpless as I transformed but when it was over my problems got a whole lot worse!
