Ariel's Journey.

Chapter two

Ariel walked all the way, being guided by the snake, she found her way to the main road.She saw a truck coming towards her and then lifted her thumbs to ask for a ride."Are you heading to the city?"

"Jump in miss,you look like you need a ride and some food."said the driver.

"Thank you sir."Indeed she needed some food,that body was too weak and thin,with lack of malnutrition.She wondered how the girl had been surviving.

By the time she arrived at the city,it was already late in the night,she used the memories to track the way back to where she lived.The villa was surround with security cameras,and guards, but with how she had trained in her previous life, she used the skills to try and dodge them,she knocked out some and then swiftly entered her room.It wasn't even a room,it was more of a cubical with one tiny window and a wooden door.The cube was at the back of the villa one wouldn't even notice.Ariel got to the bed without mattress and struggled to close her eyes.It was very uncomfortable that she couldn't even close her eyes.Sitting on the bed,she decided to ramage through the stuffs in that room.

Guided by her instincts,she found a box hidden in a place where no one could even suspect.She opened it and found a thousand dollar bills and a few coins in the box.Since she had the original owner's memory she had the idea of what she was holding but knew that money was not enough.The next day would be Sunday,the only place she could get free money,was through gambling.Gambling was one of her favorite hobies in her previous life.

Since they thought she was dead, she could stay here till the next day in the evening and then leave.She did not pack any clothes,she only took the only important stuffs that were treasured,which were the things her mother left for her. The rest of the night,she spent her time going through her memories,marking down the most important parts,esp"ecially those who mistreated her.

The next day,Ariel woke up early and left the house secret. Though she had a trail body, her strength was not that bad,maybe it was due to the experiments,but she was extremely hungry.With agility,she managed to walk to the city,which took her thirty minutes,moreover she realized that,as she walked,her pace kept on increasing and she wasn't growing any tired ,according to her memory,the former owner of the body had been going through this path when she was heading to school.Her father refused to take her to school with the family car.

"Hey!there she is!"Said a voice out of nowhere,Ariel turned only to see,two identical faces,Jace and Jack.

She smiled,"Hey there,you two,I was just wondering how I would pass the rest of this boring day alone,but I'm glad to see your faces."

Jace and Jack looked at each other in confusion, "is something wrong?"

Ariel,"why?"

"You just left for two weeks and now you have completely changed!By the way,weren't you supposed to be gone for one month?"Jack asked.The only difference between Jack and Jace was that Jack had a mole next to her nose and Jace had a mole at the back of her ear.Ariel's father had gone to the university to ask for a leave,they had said that she was going for a one month trip but little did they know, she was going to be experimented and that was the last time she was going to see the day.

"Well,the trip was reduced to half a month and then I came back."She looked at them and decided to change the topic,"well,I'm hungry,have you guys eaten?"

"No we just left the campus and now we are heading to grab some breakfast."The twins' parents were government officials,it wasn't easy for them to stay in the house because of work,and the twins always went back during the weekends till whenever they want. "Come on,let's go together I know the food is in abundance at home,"as he said this,he grabbed Ariel's hand and they walked slowly,the two kept arguing on the colors of people's cloth.

"Where is your driver?"Ariel asked,stopping them fro arguing.

"Oh that!We told the driver not to come, we felt like walking,besides it's not that far from the campus."Jace said.

Do you guys know any casino that opens earlier?"she asked.

"Oh, you want to go to the casino?"

"Yeah,I want to try my luck!"

Jack,"I told you she is changed!"

Jace,"when did you tell me that!Besides,I can also see it for myself.Anyway,I know one of the casino's that start work earlier,the one at the back of the alley,it's always opened.But I'm afraid, the owner of the casino is very dangerous."

Jack,"You talking about Karl,the leader of 'The Panthers?"

Ariel did not care about that at all,"well,can we go to that casino later?"

Are you sure about that?"Jace asked.

Yes."came her reply.
