In another world.

Burn her!Burn her!She is a witch!"Came faint voices in the middle of the night.As the voices grew louder and clearer, Ariel woke her lazily from her sleep, thinking that something might have happened to someone.Rubbing her eyes lazily,she opened the door and walked outside to see what was the commotion was all about.

Paaah! Suddenly something hit her,the scent was so disguting that she furrowed her eyeybrows in irritation.The scent made her feel like releasing all that she had eaten during the day.As her fingers gently touched the place where she was hit and felt the sticky texture of the liquid, her eyes grew wide.'What's going on?'Something was definitely wrong,she was surrounded by a crowd o f people with ferocious expressions,some holding candles while others held fuel.

Kill her!Kill her!"They all shouted in unison.

Before she could even speak,they started throwing different things at her,but the most painful ones were the stones that kept hitting her.

"You murderer!"

"You witch!"

"You b***h,slut!"

Every kind of curse and hurtful words were thrown at her.She had never shed tears since her mother died but now,those hurtful words and those things hitting her body took all her strength and endurance.Tears flew done her cheeks.'what had she done?"No one tried to explain to her what was going on,neither did they even give her chance to speak. Through her blurry eyes she lifted her head and scanned through the crowd,all those people were people who had once or twice came to ask her for help.Now here they are,they are the first ones to curse her and throw stones at her.Her eyes then landed at a few figures with smug expressions on their faces,one was her love rival,Betty and her fiance Mark.The other was the second in command,since she was the leader,some were people whom she had thought were her friends and...Paaah!

Aaaaah!She screamed,someone had hit her eyes with a stone and before she could get a grip, her body was drenched,her skin was burning and the smell of acid became strong.Rolling and screaming,her whole body was burning,it was pure torture,this was that moment where someone wished for a pure death.'Water,water!'Instead of water,it was another bucket of acid,but half way through, someone shielded her.Ariel looked to see who it was,her hope of having someone to support her growing,but before she could build her hopes,it was crushed.She felt guilty,the one who shielded her was Jessica,a woman she never talked to,if they were to meet on the road,they would consider each other strangers.

"All of you came to her for treatment and she healed each one o you,sometimes for free,at war,she fought for all of you making sure no one was left homeless,and here you are, judging and condemning her!How shameless of you?I wish she had never treated animals like you with kindness!"Jessica shouted at them.There came silence,everyone was wavering and their faces showed a trace of guilt.

"Jessica you should also be burned together with her!Both of you are witches.It takes a witch to know a witch!"

With that,everyone gained back their momentum.Ariel tried to speak,she wanted to stop Jessica from speaking up for her,but all her strength had gone."Burn them both!Kill them!"They started shouting again,and with the last bit f strength she watched as they sprinkled kerosene around her house and lit it up.There was no need to fight,she laughed through her tears.Her laugh was loud,taunting and earpiercing that it made everyone shiver.She was laughing,but tears were streaming down her now burned face,how bad she wanted to burn them together with her...

Ariel opened her eyes slowly,her body was aching and all she could see were trees."Where am I?"She had to ask even though she knew no one could answer her.

"Can't you see?You are in the forest dummy!"

Ariel,"who are you?"Her body kept rotating to see where the voice came from.

"You can hear me?"the voice sounded shocked,and then,"mmmmh...strange,you are supposed to be...ouch!You stepping on my tail!

Following the voice,Ariel looked down to find herself coming face to face with a green snake,but instead of screaming,she fainted.

Snake,"fool."

five hours later,she woke up she looked around and after not seeing the snake, she gave a sigh of relief.

Snake,"I am right behind you!"It's voice caused Ariel to jolt up in a hurry causing her to feel dizzy,"I swear if you faint again I will bite you to death!"

After getting used to the idea of the fact that she has the abilities to speak to animals,she sat down and relaxed," What is going on?Am I in heaven?"

"What would a serpent be doing in heaven,weren't taught that in church!"the serpent said.

Ariel,"that means I'm in hell."

I have never seen someone as stupid as you, "this is earth!"

"What is earth?"she asked.

"Another planet."

"Why am I here?I mean,in the forest?"she asked.

"You were thrown here by some humans,I guess they thought you were dead."

With that,Ariel started having flashbacks,but they were not hers,they were for the owner of this body she had occupied.She saw how the original owner had been constantly mistreated and bulllied and with the memories came the knowledge.Everything the former owner of the body knew,were now engraved in her mind.She smiled sinisterly,"well,Ariel consider me avenging you.Earth,here comes a new Ariel."Compared to her death tragedy, this other Ariel went through a lot,she even became a lab rat,an experimental tool,and her relatives were the ones who did that to her!
