As I was approaching her I noticed her starting to fall. I silently but quickly went to her and grabbed her.
She looked up at me with those big green eyes and it felt like heaven. This time it was real, we were both awake and I was in my human form.
She started to pull away from me, but I kept a slight hold of her to help steady her. As soon as she started standing upright she had collapsed into my arms again. Without another word I scooped her up into my arms to carry her back.
“Oh, you really don’t need to carry me,”She said to me. “If you could just lend me an arm I would be able to walk back.”
