It was a peaceful night. I felt at so much peace having her here in the pack house and in my room with me. I woke up early, the usual five in the morning so that I can get some training in. She was holding me tight and I wasn’t quite sure how to untangle from her without waking her up.
I gently moved her arm off of me and then slid out of bed. I tucked her back under the cover and hoped she would stay sleeping for the next few hours. I left a note on the nightstand next to her letting her know I had to get some work done but that I would be back before nine.
I quietly got dressed in the bathroom and then made my way to my office. Much to my surprise Max was in there as well.
