1260 Words
Laura was faced with Williams's lawyer as he entered the hospital ward. After grabbing a seat, he took a seat. He pulled out divorce papers from his portfolio. Please sign this document to dissolve your union with my client, Laura. The attorney gave direction. Laura isn't sure if she should laugh or cry. Williams is truly a monstrosity. Before delivering the documents to her, he was unable to even allow her to leave the hospital. "What if I refused to sign?"Laura inquiring. In the event that she declines to sign divorce papers, what actions would Williams and his mother take? He would be unable to be with Deborah as long as her marriage remained intact. Since he gave her the medicine, he is unable to make her do anything. "You will then compel my client to make a big decision and come clean about your adulterous lifestyle. The attorney retorted in an abhorrent manner, "Remember that you are an illegitimate daughter and that your mother's previous life would be unearthed." Laura experienced a nearly skipped heartbeat. Her life had already been lived differently from her mother's. It was reported that her mother had her outside of marriage. However, her mother was struck by a careless vehicle and died shortly after her parents decided to get married. She thus continued to be an illegitimate daughter. A year later, at the age of three, her father wed Deborah's mother, Mrs. Angelle. She has developed under her stepmother's guidance. when her dad was still living. Mrs. Angelle tolerated her. She didn't express her dislike for her or her concern for her. Until her father passed away, they cohabited and got along just fine. Mrs Angelle became enraged upon discovering that her father had divided his fortune equally between his two daughters in his will. How could Andrew have shared Deborah's portion of his property with Laura? She had been so gracious as to allow the latter, her illegitimate daughter, to live in the house and use the Joshua surname. However, she would never accept equal rights for herself and her daughter because that would be going too far. Until she was pleased with her retribution, she was going to deal with Laura. Carefully, Laura got up to seat down so as not to interfere with the infusion that was given to her. The lawyer held out his hand and he took the Golden pen. According to the document, she is not allowed to go back and retrieve her married name or any of the stock in her father's business. Her possessions served as Williams' consolation for being duped. Upon reading the condition included in the divorce papers, Laura's hands trembled. With a gentle sigh, she controlled her uncontrolled breathing and signed the documents. She signed the documents to give up riches and prosperity; instead, she committed herself to a life of poverty. Upon noticing her signature, the attorney gave him the documents. After gathering them and rearranging them in his portfolio, he looked up and grinned for the first time since he had gone inside Laura's hospital ward. "Miss Laura, I hope you have a wonderful life and have a great day," the attorney remarked as he got up to leave the hospital ward. Laura shed a few tears as she watched him walk away. She is now completely destroyed. Her existence is now meaningless and hollow. She is devoid of anything. With no parents or spouse, she believed she had a sister, but unfortunately, she's just a green snake beneath a green lawn. Where is her home, and who are her people? To whom does she go for assistance? Laura sobbed until her tears ran out of her body. She was wearing only the dress that was lying on the bed next to her. Her sole possession when she changed out of the hospital clothes she was wearing was that dress. After leaving the hospital, the lawyer entered a car with tinted windows, where Deborah and Williams were sitting. "She signed when I threatened her with her mother's past life." It felt like the lawyer was bragging. "I will gladly add 20% to your fees, I know you can make that b***h submit," Williams cheerfully replied. The bonds of that b*****e known as marriage have now been broken for him. Gosh, the chick disgusts him and he didn't really like her. It had taken him four months to get used to pretending. Deborah put her head on Williams' shoulder and wrapped her fingers around his arm, chiming, "Baby you are the best." As the chauffeur turned on the engine and drove off, they shared a kiss and felt content. For the next two days while she was in the hospital, nobody came to see how she was doing. While in the hospital, she placed an order for takeaway. He left her phone by her bedside, and she's glad. The little money she had in her account was moved to a hidden account that she could access. She may misjudge Williams' willingness to go. After paying her costs, she was allowed to leave the hospital. so she was unable to go back home. She needed to go to the home of her stepmother. At least her father owns that house also. She may find something worthwhile to occupy her time and life there if she decided to remain for a while. She gave him the address to take her to as she got into a taxi. Her support for her daughter's actions would not exist. Even while she might not have truly loved her, she was the one who coupled her with Williams against her will. It's her fault for pressuring her with that moron. If she got to know that her daughter had a hand in what led to the breakdown of the marriage she instituted. Deborah's mother Stepmom would undoubtedly be furious with her. At the address Laura had given him, the taxi driver stopped. He waited for her to get out of the car, but he was taken aback when the woman he was carrying didn't even intend to get out. She had tears in her eyes as he caught a glimpse of her in the rearview mirror. While she appeared to be engrossed in faraway thoughts, she was also crying. The driver of the taxi shook his head. Everybody faces some sort of struggle. He was aware that the stunning woman was distressed and disoriented, but he was unsure of what was consuming her. He faces his own struggles as well, and she might not know him as well as he does to predict hers. With a quiet sigh, he said, "Ma'am, we are there." Laura didn't hear him speak to her, though. He blew on his automobile horn after saying it again. Laura looked ashamed as she abruptly snapped out of her reverie. How much longer had this man spoken to her and still she had not heard him? Even the horn button required him to press. She wiped away her tears and hurriedly got out of the car. She paid the fees, but the cab driver added, "Ma'am, don't give up hope even though I might not know what you're going through," before taking her money. Laura instructed him to hold the change when he received the money. "Everything will be fine, give it time," He said. She gave him a quick grin and a thank-you before rushing to get to the house. But when she heard voices from within the home, she paused at the entrance.
