Laura was startled and temporarily stunned. Was her stepmother a prop for the scene?
"Everything was returned to me. This was not the right house for that girl to be in the first place. However, she now takes from Deborah what was meant to be hers alone "Mrs. Angelle said.
She appeared to be among a group of others. Laura never imagined being entangled in anything so dubious.
"Aunt, I told you to trust me with everything." I was going to take everything away from her. Not only did I do that, but I also caused her to lose to a hooker for the first time.
Who is going to marry a destitute, untrustworthy girl? A woman with this combo turns guys away. Williams complimented himself.
"Mum, I told you to fully trust William's. Deborah remarked shyly, "He had shown that he was capable of being my husband.
Certainly, Deborah. Laura heard the sound of glasses clicking as Mrs. Angelle once again congratulated her.
Were they celebrating her demise with a toast? Tearing off the doorknob, she entered.
Upon seeing her, the visitors were taken aback, and for the following few seconds, not a single sound was made.
Laura clenched her hand into a fist. A coalition of conspirators is this. She unwittingly fell into their trap as they plotted against her.
She studied each of their faces in turn. There were four of them. Williams with his mother, Deborah, and Mrs. Angelle. They are the ones who pulled her into the mud.
However, she would one day rise once more and repay them all for what they had done to her.
"Tik...tik...tik... who is this person? The wife who committed a******y. You still have the audacity to return here truly discarded the last vestige of guilt you possess?" Deborah scoffed.
She looked down at Laura's toes as well as her head. She approached and circumnavigated her. Prior to bursting into laughter.
"I assume you've heard what we've stated. I'll now explain to you how it all began. This was something that my good friend Williams and I had long since planned.
In exchange for her son marrying Deborah, we had him assist us in carrying out the arrangements. In order to prevent us from getting it back later, I coerced you into marriage.
Williams never touched you or had s*x with you because of this. He will be with Deborah and cannot waste his manliness on an illegitimate daughter like you.
Deborah raised her finger to reveal the golden wedding band on her finger, saying, "Williams and I are married, Laura, we are happy."
"Deborah, congratulations. Laura answered, "I hope you two get the happiness you so richly deserve." She noticed Williams squinting.
William recognized that she was truly damning them rather than wishing them well. Although he was unable to respond to what she had said, he knew that Laura Heart only had revenge in store for them.
Although he was a little uneasy with how his mother had treated Laura, he was unable to undo what he had done at this time. His mother coerced him into doing this by promising that if he finally wed the genuine daughter, he would inherit her family business.
Laura, what more was she waiting for? She turned around and walked away. She turned to face the house that carries her childhood memories as she opened the door and stepped through it.
In which Deborah and her father play like a mother dog and her puppies while he carries them both on his tight or shoulder. However, from now on, she was not allowed to enter that house.
The door jammed on its own when she released it. With a quick step, she left the Valvast compound, holding back the tears she had been attempting to contain.
It was as if they had been let loose and it was pouring money down her cheeks.
She was lost and confused as she strolled along the street. She ran across an old school friend from childhood while she was idling on the sidewalk.
Laura! Rosa hurried to grab her after calling. Laura noticed a lot of people turning to look at her at that point.
Abruptly, a fast-moving car zipped past, causing Laura and Rosa to stumble due to the wind from the vehicle.
"Laura, what's wrong with you? Do you wish to pass away?Rosa glared at her before turning to face Laura. She appeared worn out and feeble, her face bloated and red.
"Laura, thank you so much, Rosa."
Rosa dragged her out of the middle of the road just in time to save her from being struck down.
Perhaps it was for the best that she hadn't actually died. Her suffering will end when she joined her parents. Rosa shouldn't have pulled her; she should have died.
The laser made a murmur that she heard.
Some shook their heads and walked away, mocking her, while others showed sympathy.
Some hissed and left her alone, while others hurled words of caution in her direction. Rosa led her aside while holding her hand.
"Laura, where are you heading? Rosa inquired. Laura, as far as she knew, had tied the knot quietly a few months prior with a certain guy.
Why does she appear to be so unhappy? Where are her sister and husband? If her memory serves her correctly, she has a little sister named Deborah.
"I'm not sure," Laura replied.
She has nowhere to go and no place to call home. Maybe she can spend the night in a cozy spot on one of the street's corners.
"You don't know what you mean? What address do you use at home? Rosa inquired. She got married and she and her spouse live together in a house. Her father's estate serves as her home as well.
"Rosa, I have nowhere to call home. I'm a nomad. "Perhaps you ought to have abandoned me long ago so that that car could smash me instead of coming to my aid," Laura sobbed.
Rosa comprehended. There were undoubtedly problems in her marriage, and she is unable to go back into her father's estate. She remained silent and didn't ask her any more questions.
After hailing a cab, she shoved Laura into before inviting her to get in as well. The driver drove her home after she gave him her address.
Rosa shared a little home with her brother and mother. Little because it's nothing in comparison to her childhood and living environment.
Many years ago, Rosa's mother watched her daughter come home with her friend. She gave them each a warm welcome. However, after noticing Laura's dejected expression, she stopped asking inquiries.
Laura was entertained and taken in by Rosa's mother and brother. After eating, she had a bath. Rosa's mother allowed her to use the guest room for the duration of her visitation at their home.
Laura couldn't imagine she could receive such good hospitality from an old friend. She sobbed more. An old friend became her family and her family and her family has become old friends to her. What an irony.
Two days passed and Laura was getting to smile slightly white Rosa's brother's little jokes. None have asked Laura what happened to her a few days ago until four days later and she was a little cheerful and talked freely with them. She was still reserved but a little free with the present family.
Rosa's mother that evening called Laura and Rosa and daughter and asked them what happened?
