18 Trial And Error Of Summoning Kramer’s Creature

The sphinx stood up and grinned. “If you ever find it hard, you can consider the three solutions I gave you, especially the last one.”
Peter got the answer he wanted, so he sent the sphinx back to its world before it would eat him up.
Ignoring the sphinx, he recited the mantra to send the sphinx back to its world:
The creature summoned by Peter Cohen, I command you to go back to your world!
The sphinx laughed until he was sucked back into the portal before the portal dispersed.
With the gestures of his hands, he closed the portal and hurried to wake himself from his not that long dream.
He fluttered his eyes open and sat up from his bed. He looked at the digital clock at the bedside table to check that it was almost eleven, which meant he had not been asleep for that long.
Remembering everything from his dream, he left the room and walked to the room across, which was occupied by Zack. “Zack,” Peter began to shake Zack. The latter just groaned and rolled over to the other side of the bed. “Zack, wake up.”
Zack, who had his eyebrows furrowed, looked at Peter with only one eye open. “What? I’m sleeping.”
“I know. How can I wake you up if you’re not sleeping?” Peter asked.
“Stupid i***t,” Zack said and took his pillow to cover his ear.
Peter shook Zack. “Come on, get up already,” Peter said, shaking Zack intensely.
“What?!” Zack lost his temper and sat up, glaring at Peter. “What do you need? Do you want someone to make your milk? Or do you want someone to accompany you to the comfort room?” He asked, visibly annoyed.
“I found out how to unstone Josh,” Peter said.
Zack buffered for a bit as he stared at Peter and then asked, “Really? How did you find out?”
Peter shook his head. “There’s no time for story-telling. Let’s get Ray,” he said and stood up, Zack followed, wearing back his shirt.
“How is your neck, though?” Peter asked as they walked out of the room to Ray’s room.
“It’s fine, it just stings a bit. I think the blood has dried,” Zack said as they entered the room Ray occupied.
Ray was awoken by the two entering his room. “What’s the commotion?” Ray said and sat up on his bed, rubbing his eyes. The two just stayed by the door. “It’s not been an hour since we slept, Peter.”
Peter nodded. “I know. But I just knew how to unstone Josh.”
“What happened? What did you know?” Ray asked and sat by the edge of the bed.
“I slept and sphinx visited my dream, and she told me four solutions on how to un-stone Josh. The three were out of our capabilities but she gave another one,” He stood up and waited for the two to stand as well. “We’ll have to summon again.”
“Wait, what?” Zack asked.
Ray scratched his neck. “A what visited your dream?”
“How are you even sure your dream is reliable?” Zack asked as well.
“I told you, a sphinx. I think it manifested into my dream. I told him we need help so he gave me four answers,” Peter couldn’t tell the truth so he had to improvise a convincing lie. “With all the fantastic things that have happened to us, I’ll believe anything. We should try every possible thing. We don’t know what could happen to Josh if he continued to stay as stone.”
Ray then asked, “Wait, what were the three solutions he gave? Let’s see if we’re incapable of doing any of it,”
Peter sighed. “We’ll have to summon the shadow man from the world of shadow. We’ll offer life in exchange for Josh being back to normal.”
“Wait, we’re going to kill someone? Sacrificing someone to the shadow man, although we don’t know what that creature would to the human sacrifice, that’s killing,” Zack said. “I don’t want to feel conscience because of someone I don’t know who we would sacrifice to the shadow man.”
Ray looked at Zack who said a lot of things, but he agreed. “he’s right. Josh wouldn’t want to know we had to offer another life in exchange for his.”
“I know,” Peter nodded.
“The second is?” Zack asked.
“Time traveling. Go back to the time before we summoned Medusa and not summon her at all,” Peter said.
“Bullshit, next!” Zack said.
“The third is, the sphinx could get help himself from another creature, but in exchange, he had to wipe all of my memories,” Peter said.
The two were silent, considering the idea. “What are you guys thinking?”
“Peter, do you want to get your memory erased?” Zack asked.
“Do you want me to sacrifice you to the shadow man?” Peter asked seriously.
Ray laughed. He asked, “What’s the one he gave you?”
“Summoning a creature from Kramer. The sphinx said creatures there have invigorating blood. The sphinx said summoners who have pure and moral intention could summon one of them,” Peter said.
“Then let’s summon,” Ray said and got off of the bed and walked to the two.
With everyone anticipating about Josh coming back, they decided to summon.
Quickly, they went back down to the basement.
Peter took the book and with his spirit power, formed a basic circle. He flipped the pages but never found a mantra to call any creature from Kramer.
“What? What is it?” Zack asked when he saw the change of reaction in Peter’s face.
Peter shook his head and continued to flip over the pages of the book. “It should be here, but I can’t find any mantra to summon a creature from Kramer.”
“Let me see,” Ray said and took the book from Peter. “There should be something mentioning invigorating blood or the world Kramer,” he flipped the Book of Dimension while Peter and Zack were looking over his shoulder.
“There is nothing,” Ray confirmed.
“Did the sphinx in your dream leave something like a mantra or anything?” Zack asked.
Peter shook his head. “No, and I didn’t ask. I was too sure there was in the book.”
That’s why he gave me that kind of grin. He knew there wasn’t any mantra on the book. He thought.
“We have to use a random mantra,” Peter said.
“How will you do it? You don’t even know what they are like,” Ray said.
“I might need to try everything,” Peter said.
Peter formed a basic summoning circle to start summoning.
“If you guys have any idea, please tell me,” Peter said and waited for the two to nod.
He then started reciting the random mantra.
A minor creature from the Kramer world;
The land-living thing with a deformed body, the rare substance is within you;
Figure that my intentions are pure.
In my name, Peter Cohen, I command you to appear in this world!
A familiar whirlwind swirled around the circle, giving them the same effect of making their hair dance to the movement of the wind, as well as their clothes.
A portal appeared there and a sarcoma-looking plant appeared inside the circle. It had a sprout on top and was as small as Peter’s palm, and just stayed on the same spot. “Quick, get a sword,” he told and it was Ray who gave Peter the sword.
Peter sliced the plant into half and sliced it even more to smaller pieces, but they never saw any special substance with the plant that they could call the invigorating blood.
“Nothing’s here,” Peter said and kicked the sliced plants away from the circle.
Ray insisted he should try too, so Peter moved out of the circle and let Ray summon.

After the whirlwind and portal came, a jellyfish appeared in the circle. It was soaked in water and pitifully crawling there. It had eyes and iridescent colors.
It was not the creature with invigorating blood.
Time passed, and they subsequently summoned other inferior creatures like invisible worms, walking octopus, a slime-looking cloud, an elephant with a size of an insect, even a cat with eight eyes and flying frog, but none of them was the one they were looking for.
Along with Peter’s minimal patience, he was started to lose hope, to the point he thought he wouldn’t be able to bring Josh back again.
“The mantra isn’t proper, and I don’t think the mantra does fit the description of the creature,” Ray said.
Peter nodded and stepped in the circle after Zack left. “I’ll change the circle, it must be a superior creature,” he said. He gestured his hands and focused his spiritual power and changed the circle to ignazzi.
He then recited the altered mantra:
A superior creature from the Kramer world;
An organism with soft flesh and body, you possess invigorating blood;
Come before me and figure that my intentions are pure.
In my name, Peter Cohen, I command you to appear in this world.”
A familiar whirlwind and portal appeared, but to their surprise, there was a sudden blast inside the circle.
